The M&S Foodhall advent calendar, a £100 box with 25 doors of chocolates, tea, chutney and cocktails, has sold out online, and M&S says it will not get more stock this year. The product page on marksandspencer.com now reads “Sorry, this item is no longer available”. Five food calendars from £7 are still listed as in stock on 30 October 2026, from M&S itself, Cadbury, Home Bargains and Lindt.
What was in the M&S Foodhall advent calendar, and why did it go so fast?
M&S launched the box in September 2026, and Birmingham Live reported on 22 September that it had sold out in 72 hours at £100. M&S replied to shoppers on X: “It sold out faster than we imagined! Hopefully, we’ll do something similar next year, for all those who missed out.”
The M&S Foodhall Advent Calendar has 25 days of what M&S calls foodie favourites. The official contents list includes:
- Collection Single Origin Darjeeling Tea (37.5g)
- Collection Sticky Fig and Hot Honey Chutney (230g)
- Collection Acacia Honey with Truffle (120g)
- Hazelnut Crème Truffles (68g) and Collection Milk Chocolate Florentines (170g)
- Three drinking chocolate sachets, in 70% dark, Belgian 50% milk and salted caramel
- Two Marksologist cocktails, a Salted Caramel Espresso Martini and a Spicy Mezcal Margarita, both in 150ml sizes
M&S guarantees everything in the box will last until at least 10 January 2027.

Which food advent calendars are still in stock from £7?
These five were available to buy online on 30 October 2026, with the prices shown on each retailer’s page:
- M&S Percy Pig Advent Calendar, £7: 24 solid milk chocolate shapes plus a bag of Merry Percymas fruit gums for Christmas Day. It is the same price as the M&S Percy Pig calendar we wrote about earlier this month. Ocado lists it at £7, and the M&S product page shows stock by store.
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Lotus Biscoff Chocolate Chunk Advent Calendar, £7.79: a 236g calendar with Biscoff biscuit in Dairy Milk chocolate, sold by Cadbury Gifts Direct.
- The Snackvent Calendar, £9.99: 24 days of British crisps and corn snacks, with flavours such as steak, prawn cocktail and salt and vinegar, on the Home Bargains website. Our Home Bargains crisps calendar report has the full lineup.
- M&S The Big Daddy Advent Calendar, £12: a 331g calendar of peanut and pistachio chocolate bites, with a Little Big Daddy bar for Christmas Day, sold at £12 on Ocado and listed on the M&S website.
- Lindt Pick & Mix Advent Calendar, £15: you choose 24 LINDOR truffles for the doors, and the Lindt website shows £15 against a £17.50 regular price. Our Lindt advent calendars guide compares it with the other Lindt options.

What we think: is anything as good as the £100 box?
Our take is that nothing at £7 to £15 copies the Foodhall calendar’s mix of tea, chutney, honey and cocktails, so if that is the draw you are looking at a higher price. The closest comparison on subscription terms is Degustabox, which lists its Cosmic Christmas advent calendar at £39.99 on its official page, as our Degustabox advent calendar article explains.
If you mainly want something chocolatey to open each morning, the Percy Pig and Cadbury picks are the cheapest, at £7 and £7.79. The Snackvent suits people who would rather have crisps than chocolate, and the Lindt calendar is the one to choose if you want to pick every truffle. Our chocolate advent calendars round-up, plus the Aldi and Hotel Chocolat guides, cover more food calendars. Prefer beauty behind the doors?
