Aldi has unveiled its 2026 advent calendars, and most of them land in stores on Sunday 25 October 2026. The headline new ones are a 12 Days of Lacura beauty calendar at £19.99 (with an exclusive Plumping Lip Gloss) and a Cocktail Advent Calendar at £12.99, joined by a £24.99 candle calendar, LEGO, Barbie and Hot Wheels countdowns and a wooden calendar already on shelves. Here are the prices, what is inside and how to avoid missing out, based on Aldi’s press release of 6 October 2026.

What is inside the 12 Days of Lacura advent calendar?
Aldi’s own-brand beauty line, Lacura, gets its first 12-day calendar this year. According to Aldi, it mixes miniature and full-size products that are cruelty-free and dermatologically tested, including:
- Lacura: Hydrogel Eye Pads (two pieces).
- Lacura: Liquid Blush, 2.1ml.
- Lacura: Hair Repair Oil, 15ml.
- Lacura: Plumping Lip Gloss, 5.1ml (new, only available in this calendar).

Our take: at £19.99 for 12 days, that is about £1.67 a door. It is a fun, low-risk gift or stocking filler rather than a rival to the big beauty calendars: if you want brand names, the LOOKFANTASTIC advent calendar 2026 costs £120 for 27 products.
The drinks calendars: cocktails and cream liqueur
These two are for adults only (18+). The new Cocktail Advent Calendar (£12.99) contains miniature cans of Aldi’s Infusionist ready-to-drink cocktails, including a Spicy Margarita, an Espresso Martini and a Passion Fruit Martini (125ml each), plus chocolate truffles. The returning Ballycastle Country Cream calendar (£12.99) has 5cl bottles of Classic Country Cream, White Chocolate Cream and Chocolate, Hazelnut and Caramel Cream, and adds chocolate truffles this year. Aldi has not said how many drinks each calendar holds.

Candles, toys and a calendar to keep
- Hotel Collection Candle Advent Calendar (£24.99): 25 candles of 50g, each with up to eight hours of burn time according to Aldi, in six festive scents (Warm Gingerbread, Hot Cocoa, Frosted Fir, White Christmas, Cinnamon Spice and Iced Berries), inside a gingerbread house style box. That is just under £1 a candle. Aldi’s release for this calendar no longer opened when we checked on 9 October, so these details come from its text as quoted by House Beautiful and other press.
- LEGO Advent Calendar (£24.99): a build or minifigure behind each door. Aldi does not say which LEGO theme.
- Barbie and Hot Wheels calendars (£18.99 each) from Mattel.
- Pets: Aldi’s release promises “treats for four-legged friends” but does not name a pet calendar or give its price, so check in store.
- Wooden Advent Calendar (£12.99): a reusable calendar with a wooden tree decoration behind each door, in stores since 8 October.
How to get one
Aldi calendars are Specialbuys: they are sold in stores only, while stocks last, and Aldi itself warns “when they’re gone, they’re gone”. Our tip: go on the morning of Sunday 25 October, or ask your local store when its delivery arrives, because stock varies between shops.
