M&S has given Percy Pig his own advent calendar for 2026, and at £7 it is one of the cheapest character calendars on the high street. There is a twist, though: the 24 doors hide milk chocolate shapes, not the famous pink gummies. The sweets come as a bag of Merry Percymas gums for Christmas Day. You can find the Percy Pig Advent Calendar on the M&S website, in M&S stores and at Ocado.
It lands alongside a £12 Big Daddy calendar for chocolate bar fans, while the much-hyped £100 M&S Foodhall advent calendar has already sold out, according to BBC Good Food. Here is what is inside both new calendars, and whether they are worth your £7 or £12.
What is inside the Percy Pig advent calendar?
According to M&S and the Ocado product page:
- 24 solid milk chocolate shapes with Percy designs, one behind each numbered door.
- A bag of Merry Percymas soft fruit flavour gums, made with fruit juice, for Christmas Day.
- 250g in total, suitable for vegetarians.
- Allergens: contains milk and soya, and is not suitable for anyone with a nut or peanut allergy.

At £7, that works out at about 29p a door, before you count the bag of gums. On Ocado, the M&S Percy Pig Advent Calendar was £7 and in stock on 18 October.
Chocolate, not gummies: does it matter?
It might, if you are buying for a Percy superfan who expects a daily gummy. BBC Good Food was the first to flag that this is “primarily a chocolate advent calendar”, and the box design, covered in Percy faces, does not make that obvious at a glance. The good news is that Merry Percymas is back for its 10th year as a standalone bag, so if you want gummies every day, a 170g bag of Merry Percymas sweets costs £2 at Ocado, and there is a new Percy Pig Festive Fun bag with fizzy Christmas shapes at the same price.
The Big Daddy advent calendar: £12 of chocolate bites
For grown-ups who prefer something chunkier, the Big Daddy Advent Calendar builds on M&S’s popular Big Daddy bar, including the pistachio version that rode the Dubai chocolate trend.
According to M&S and Ocado, the 331g calendar contains:
- Big Daddy peanut bites: peanut butter and roasted peanut centres with a caramel layer.
- Big Daddy pistachio bites: milk chocolate filled with white chocolate and pistachio.
- A Little Big Daddy Peanut bar behind the Christmas Day door.
- Suitable for vegetarians; contains nuts.

Our verdict
The Percy Pig calendar is a fun, cheap stocking-style treat, and the Christmas Day bag of gums is a nice finale. Just know what you are buying: it is a chocolate calendar dressed in Percy’s colours, so a gummy fan might be happier with a £2 bag of Merry Percymas and a classic chocolate calendar. The Big Daddy calendar is the better pick for adults, with proper filled bites rather than thin shapes, and still costs less than most branded chocolate calendars.
