Gardners Cookies sends a November box themed Crunchy Leaves, Cosy Socks and Hot Cocoa from £12.95

Gardners Cookies has named its November cookie box “Crunchy Leaves, Cosy Socks & Hot Cocoa”. It is the brand’s monthly box of hand-iced shortbread cookies, which costs £12.95 a month on the recurring plan with postage included, or £13.95 if you pay for a single month. Each box holds at least four cookies, so the maths is about £3.24 a cookie, and the brand has only shared the theme, not a full list of designs.

Gardners Cookies: iced cookies in a letterbox box

Gardners Cookies sells decorated shortbread cookies online, and its Monthly Cookie Box is the subscription version. The page describes a “box of 4 cookies, delivered to your door each month from just £12.95 with postage”. Every month has a theme, and the November one is the autumn-and-snuggles mix in the name.

What is in the Gardners Cookies November box?

On 29 October 2026, the brand’s product page lists the November spoiler as “Crunchy Leaves, Cosy Socks & Hot Cocoa” and gives these details:

  • At least four iced shortbread cookies in the themed box, and sometimes more where the designs are smaller.
  • Each cookie comes in its own biodegradable bag, packed in a gift box with rainbow tissue paper.
  • The box is made to fit through most large letterboxes.
  • A different theme every month, such as Easter or Christmas, so the mix of designs changes each time.
  • An optional gift note, which stays the same every month on the recurring plans.

The brand has not published a design-by-design list for November. The photos in this article come from its autumn range, so treat them as a guide to the style rather than a picture of the November box.

Gardners Cookies prices: Monthly, One-Off and XL

The site shows three ways to buy, and the cheapest is the recurring one:

  • Monthly (recurring): £12.95 for the themed box of at least four cookies, with postage included.
  • One Month (one-off): £13.95 for a single box with no commitment.
  • Monthly XL (recurring): £20.95 for 10 cookies picked from the whole range, with no set theme. It is not letterbox friendly.

What we think: a fair treat, best with the recurring plan

Our take is that the saving from the recurring plan is small but real, at £1 a month, and the XL box is the better value if you want cookies rather than a theme. At £20.95 for 10 cookies, the XL works out at about £2.10 a cookie, against up to £3.24 for the themed box of four. You pay for the theme, the tissue paper and the gift-box feel.

Billing is every 28 days, not on the same date each month, so over a year you will usually be charged 13 times. At £12.95 that is about £168 a year if you never skip, and about £272 for the XL. We have not tried a box ourselves, so we cannot comment on taste or freshness.

It will suit you if you want a themed treat through the letterbox or a small gift that changes every month. If you only want to try it once, the £13.95 one-off box costs £1 more but asks for nothing further.

How the Gardners Cookies subscription works

The brand sets out the main rules on the same page:

  • Your first payment is taken straight away, then every 28 days.
  • Boxes are dispatched within three to seven working days of payment being taken.
  • If you pay during November, you get the November box.
  • You can skip a month at any time from your customer account.
  • To cancel, you email the shop and should allow at least 5 days before your next billing date to be safe. The terms and conditions ask for five days’ notice, while the subscription page says three working days, and payments already scheduled cannot be cancelled.

On diet, the brand says its cookies are made with an accidentally vegan recipe, but they are baked in a bakery that also handles dairy, eggs and nuts, so it cannot rule out traces. Its vegan gift boxes, at £15.95 for four cookies, are separate one-off products, not a subscription option.
