Degustabox Cosmic Christmas advent calendar 2026: 24 full-size treats for £39.99

Degustabox, the monthly food discovery box, has opened pre-orders for its 2026 advent calendar. This year’s edition is called A Cosmic Christmas: an XXL calendar standing 58cm tall, with 24 full-size food and drink products behind its doors, for £39.99. Degustabox says it is worth over £60, and deliveries begin in early November. It was available to pre-order on the official Degustabox advent calendar page on 15 October 2026.

A space-themed calendar from a monthly box brand

If you know Degustabox, you know the idea: a surprise box of new and familiar supermarket brands, delivered every month. The advent calendar applies the same formula to December. The 2026 artwork swaps the usual snowy village for outer space, with astronauts, planets and a Christmas tree in orbit, and the calendar is big enough to stand on a sideboard rather than hang on a wall.

Inside, Degustabox promises “a galaxy of flavour”: snacks, drinks and cooking ingredients, with a mix of savoury snacks and sweet treats. Every door holds a full-size product rather than a sample, which is what separates it from most supermarket chocolate calendars.

What is inside the Degustabox advent calendar 2026?

Degustabox keeps the line-up secret until December, and says the products shown in its photos are “just an example”. Here is what it has confirmed:

  • 24 full-size products, one behind each door.
  • A mix of snacks, drinks and cooking ingredients, sweet and savoury.
  • An XXL format: 58cm tall.
  • A stated worth of over £60.
  • Delivery to your door, with deliveries starting in early November so the calendar arrives well before 1 December.

On its advent page, Degustabox lists Cadbury, Maretti and Montezuma’s among the brands featured in previous editions, which gives a fair idea of the range: big-name sweets and biscuits alongside smaller or continental brands you may not find in your local supermarket. For a taste of past line-ups, our Degustabox advent calendar 2023 review found Yogi Tea Turmeric Chai, St Dalfour jam, Cadbury Christmas Puds, Baileys Mini Delights and a SimplyCook Keralan Fish Curry kit behind the doors, and our 2022 calendar post has the spoilers for that year.

A second calendar for bakers

Degustabox’s FAQ also mentions an Advent Calendar Cook & Bake 2026: 24 doors of baking and cooking products, with a recipe booklet that has one recipe for each product. It is a nice idea for families who want to cook together through December, and a different proposition from the Cosmic Christmas calendar, which is more about snacking and discovering.

What we think

At £39.99 for 24 full-size products, you pay about £1.67 a door. That is excellent value on paper, and the stated worth of over £60 is believable for a calendar of supermarket brands. Customer reviews quoted on the Degustabox page praise the variety and the fun of a daily surprise, which matches our experience of past editions.

The catch is the surprise itself. You do not choose the products, and past calendars mixed treats you will love with cupboard staples that are less exciting to open on a December morning (a jar of jam is not a chocolate). If the curry kit was your favourite door, SimplyCook sends those recipe kits through the letterbox all year round. Allergies and dietary needs are hard to plan around when the contents are secret. And at 58cm tall, it needs space.

Who is it for?

It suits families who share a calendar, foodies who enjoy discovering brands, and anyone who already likes the monthly Degustabox. It is less suited to picky eaters or anyone who wants a chocolate-only countdown.
