What we think
At £165, each door costs about £6.90, and the stated worth is about 1.65 times the price, a more modest ratio than many multi-brand calendars. What you get instead is a coherent routine from one house: cleanser, toners, a serum, day and night cream, an eye treatment and two masks, plus a full body routine with Clarins’ famous Tonic oil and bath.
The full sizes are useful rather than spectacular. A full-size mascara, lip balm, lip oil and a 30ml day cream are things you will finish, but the expensive treatments (Total Eye Lift, Multi-Active, the firming cream) come as trial sizes. If you already love Clarins, this is a generous way to restock and try what you have not used yet. If you want luxury surprises, it is a little sensible.

The Clarins 12 Day Beauty Advent Calendar costs £98 with a stated worth of over £173. It has three full sizes: the Lip Perfector in 01 Rose Shimmer (12ml), the Hydra-Essentiel Day Cream (30ml) and the Hydra-Essentiel Lip Balm (15ml).
