A red and gold Hollywood calendar that turns into a jewellery box
This year’s design is a red box covered in gold stars, with jewel-handled drawers. Charlotte Tilbury says there is at least one “beauty secret” in every drawer, and that once the calendar is empty it doubles as a jewellery box or keepsake. It measures 210 x 220 x 210mm, according to the brand, so it is a compact cabinet rather than a big tower.
Fifteen surprises is fewer than the 25 doors you get from LOOKFANTASTIC or GLOSSYBOX. The pitch here is different: one premium brand, and a high share of things you would actually buy at full price.

What we think
The stated worth is £325.50, so you pay a little over half. That is a much smaller gap than the “worth three or four times the price” claims on multi-brand calendars, and it is honest: everything inside is one brand at its own RRP. Per surprise, you pay about £11.33.
The value sits in the full sizes. The Beauty Light Wand, the Matte Revolution lipstick in the famous Pillow Talk shade, the Lip Cheat Contour Duo and the Unreal Blush stick are the products people already reorder from Charlotte Tilbury. If you would buy two or three of them anyway, the rest is a bonus.
The catches: nine of the 15 surprises are travel sizes, the bag and the gua sha are accessories rather than make-up, and the line-up leans heavily on Pillow Talk pinks. If you already own most of the Pillow Talk range, you will get duplicates. We have not seen the calendar in person, so we cannot comment on travel-size volumes, which the brand does not list.
Who is it for?
It will suit you if you love Charlotte Tilbury, want a smaller countdown you will actually finish, and fancy a keepsake box afterwards.
