What we think
The stated worth of £192 is just under twice the £99 price, a modest ratio compared with multi-brand beauty calendars, but typical of a single-brand calendar from a brand that rarely discounts. The best doors are the 75ml Almond Shower Oil, one of L’Occitane’s best-known products, and the 75ml Almond Milk Concentrate. Five hand creams make it a good calendar to split into stocking fillers.
The catch: face care is limited to small sizes (8ml cream, 4ml eye balm, 5ml serum), so it will not replace your skincare routine. It is a body care calendar first.
At the same £99, the Rituals Classic advent calendar has a higher product value (£187.10 for 24 gifts, two full size), but it was temporarily sold out online on 14 October.
