You can’t miss the theme of this month’s Boxcitement box, its such a bright and vibrant collection! It’s perfect for the summer and I couldn’t wait to dive inside once I’d opened the box.
What’s in the box?
- Set of highlighter pens
- Juicy lip balm
- A neon luggage tag
- Super bright gift wrapping set
- A pom pom pencil case
- Sea themed print
- A flip flop necklace
I am a huge jewellery fan and it’s one of my favourite parts of Boxcitement. However this one was nearly a very low scoring box as the initial necklace that arrived must have been one that just accidentally escaped quality control. I dropped the team at Boxcitement a line as the one I had received didn’t look quite right. They were fantastic and sent a replacement out the same day. The one that arrived was perfect (pictured) and is a great addition to my holiday jewellery essentials!
I also really love the ‘shouty luggage tag’! Do you hate the carousel anxiety as much as I do, when you’re stood there, tired, waiting for your case to arrive and then when you do see one that you think is yours you are never entirely sure until you lug it off and get a closer look. Fingers crossed that no-one else on my flight has discovered Boxcitement as I am looking forward to using mine!
My make up bag is always bulging but when I go away I usually manage to reduce it down to just a few real essential items. That’s why I plan to use this case as my mini make up bag. I think the pom poms are a great touch and they really make me smile.
Another lovely addition is the juicy lip balm tin. It’s a great size and will definitely be going in my pom pom make up bag. The packaging is really sweet and I’ve already had people ask me where I got it.
I’ve started to put together a bag of holiday bits to keep us all occupied on the plane and these highlighters have already been added. They are a great size and I love the shades; you can never have too many highlighters!
The only thing I wasn’t blown away with this month was the print. It’s a great quality item and I loved the waves but I just wasn’t as keen on the pink and yellow colours. That’s the only thing with gift subscriptions like this, you can’t always please everyone all of the time. We actually have an overly blue bathroom and if the print had just been blue tones it would have been perfect. It’s still a great piece and would look great in a craft shed or beach hut.
