We Are Regular, the London gut health brand founded by two friends from the beauty industry, charges £45 for 28 daily sticks of its Bowel + Bloat Relief powder, or £40.50 on a 28-day subscription. That works out at about £1.45 a day if you subscribe. The headline figures on the brand’s website come from a one-week customer trial, which the site puts at 25 women in some places and 50 in others, so the pitch is bolder than the evidence.
We Are Regular: the launch, the founders and the Boots deal
The brand was founded by Holly Brooke, formerly commercial director at Skin Rocks, and Joely Walker Sanderson, a former beauty editor at Grazia and ELLE. TheIndustry.beauty reported the launch on 29 September 2025, and the brand says it spent 18 months on the formula. Brooke came from the commercial side of beauty and Walker Sanderson from magazine editorial, and the brand says the two have known each other for 18 years and worked in beauty for 13 of them. Brooke says she once relied on about 30 supplements a day, costing £300 a month on the brand’s own account, and wanted one stick to replace them.
The London Business Journal reported on 28 January 2026 that the brand reached six-figure revenue within five weeks and sold out seven weeks after launch, with endorsements from Vogue Williams and Kimberley Walsh. Those are the founders’ figures as reported. On 20 May 2026, TheIndustry.beauty reported that the brand arrived at Boots in select stores and online, the first high street retailer to stock it. The product also won Best New Beauty Supplement at the 2026 CEW UK Beauty Awards, according to the CEW UK winners list.

What do you get in 01. Bowel + Bloat Relief?
The We Are Regular website sells one main product, 01. Bowel + Bloat Relief. Each 8.4g stick is mixed into 300ml of water or juice and has a Wild Berry flavour. The brand lists 10 ingredients, including magnesium citrate, L-glutamine, ginger, peppermint and vitamin C, and says one stick equals up to 14 capsules. It is vegan, gluten free and nut free, according to the brand, although its FAQ adds that it is made on a site that handles nuts. It says the product is a daily food supplement and not a stimulant laxative.

How much does it cost, and how does the subscription work?
On 31 October 2026, the official page shows these prices:
- One-off pack: £45 for 28 sticks, which the brand pitches as £1.60 a day. It is marked as final sale. With £3.99 standard postage, a one-off pouch costs £48.99, or about £1.75 a day.
- Subscription: £40.50 every 28 days, 10% off, with free shipping and cancellation through the subscription portal. Subscribers also get a free gift with each of their first three deliveries: a sticker bundle, a travel pouch and an Ultra Violette mini SPF 50+, which the brand values at £28 in total.
- Perfect Poos Starter Pack: £15 for 7 sticks, about £2.14 a day, also sold at Boots.
Over a year, 13 deliveries cost £526.50 on subscription against £585 for 13 one-off packs, or £636.87 once you add standard postage to each. On 31 October 2026, checkout offered standard delivery at £3.99 (2 to 4 working days) and next-day delivery at £5.99 (Royal Mail 24, for orders before 1pm on weekdays). The brand’s own shipping page still lists standard at £2.99, so its pages do not agree.
The brand says it cannot cancel an order once it is placed, does not accept change-of-mind returns, and does not refund opened or used products. For a damaged, faulty or wrong item its pages disagree on the deadline: the shipping page says to tell the brand within 21 days but then asks you to email within 7 days of receiving your order, and the terms say 7 days from delivery. If something is wrong, the safe course is to report it within 7 days.

What we think: a fair price, a thin evidence base
Our take is that £1.45 to £1.60 a day is a reasonable price for a ready-mixed, once-a-day product, and the founders’ own £300-a-month story makes it look cheap. The weak spot is the proof. The brand is inconsistent about how big its trial was. The product page and the brand story describe a one-week customer trial with 25 women: 79% had a satisfying poo within 24 hours, 100% found it soft and easy to pass by day 7, and 67% felt less bloated by day 7. The homepage gives the same 79% and 100% figures but footnotes them to a trial with 50 women, and the brand does not say which number is right. There is no control group in the brand’s description, and 25 or 50 people is a small sample.
The homepage adds more claims. It says 78% reported improved bowel movements, again in a trial with 50 women, and that 100% of 24 respondents who had tried other gut supplements found this one more effective. Those are the brand’s numbers and we cannot check them. We have not tested the product ourselves.

It will suit you if you like the idea of a single stick and want a simple routine, and the 10% subscription discount makes sense once you know it works for you. If instead you are unsure, buy the £15 starter pack first rather than a full month. This is a food supplement, not a medicine, and the brand says it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Check with a doctor if you take medication. The NHS advises speaking to a pharmacist if diet and lifestyle changes are not helping constipation, and seeing a GP if you are regularly constipated or regularly bloated.
