Liberty beauty advent calendar 2026: how it compares with Space NK and Cult Beauty

The Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 costs £285 for 29 products, 21 of them full size, plus a Liberty print drawstring bag, with a stated worth of over £1,300 (Liberty’s highest ever). It mixes Augustinus Bader, Sisley, Sunday Riley, Jones Road and ILIA with a strong niche fragrance line-up, and 26 of the products are exclusive to Liberty’s edit. On 11 October 2026 the official Liberty page showed it in stock, so here is the full list and how it stacks up against this year’s other luxury calendars.

The Tudor building calendar, back for 2026

Liberty’s calendar is once again shaped like its Tudor revival store on Great Marlborough Street, and Liberty says it has sold out 11 years in a row. This year there is also a chance to find a £1,000 Golden Ticket, and the calendar comes with a large drawstring bag in the Festive Plume print.

Liberty, Space NK or Cult Beauty?

Here is how the three luxury calendars compare on the figures each retailer publishes:

• Liberty: £285, 29 products (21 full size) plus a bag, stated worth over £1,300, about £9.83 per product.
• Space NK: £275, 35 products (26 full size), stated worth over £1,200, about £7.86 per product.
• Cult Beauty: £245, 33 products (19 full size) or 38 products (17 full size), stated worth £1,105 or £1,185, from about £6.45 per product.

Liberty is the most expensive per door, but it also has the highest stated worth (4.6 times the price, against about 4.4 for Space NK and 4.5 to 4.8 for Cult Beauty) and by far the most “niche” selection. That is the real difference: where Space NK and Cult Beauty lean on names you can buy anywhere, Liberty fills its doors with smaller luxury brands (Violette_FR, Reome, Verden, Joonbyrd, Vyrao) and five niche perfumes.

What we think

The headline full sizes are genuinely good: the 100ml Sisley Sisleÿa lotion, the 30ml Sunday Riley CEO serum, the 50ml Zelens moisturiser and the 10ml Augustinus Bader Face Oil carry most of the value. Fragrance lovers get the best line-up of the three calendars, with Ex Nihilo, Bibbi, Fugazzi, D.S. & Durga and Escentric Molecules minis plus two small LBTY and Matière Première bottles.

The catch is that a fair share of the 21 “full sizes” are small by nature (a 3.5g lip product, a 6ml or 8ml perfume, a 15ml serum), and the hair and body products are the least exciting part of the list. Liberty does not publish a worth per product, so we could not check the £1,300 claim ourselves, and we have not opened the calendar.

Who is it for?

It will suit you if you want something you will not find in every other calendar, love niche perfume, and like the idea of a keepsake box and bag. If instead you want the most full sizes from big skincare names, Space NK is the better buy; if you want the lowest price per door, go for Cult Beauty.
