Lily’s Kitchen Advent Calendar for Dogs: £10.50
The Lily’s Kitchen Advent Calendar for Dogs is designed as a festive “Treat Shop” window, and behind the doors are two of the brand’s baked biscuits: Breaktime Biscuits with peanut butter and banana, and Bedtime Biscuits with a sprinkling of chamomile and passion flower. Lily’s Kitchen lists organic rye and oat flour, yoghurt powder and honey among the Bedtime Biscuit ingredients.

Delivery is £4.95, or free on orders over £29, according to Lily’s Kitchen, so it is worth adding it to a bigger order of food if you already buy the brand. Source: Lily’s Kitchen.
Butternut Box advent calendar 2026: £9.99
Butternut Box’s calendar is the meatiest of the lot: each window hides three grain-free treats, in turkey and cranberry (circles), beef (rectangles) and lamb (triangles). Each treat is about 8 kcal, and Butternut says it donates a meal to a dog in need for every calendar sold. It is not suitable for dogs with pancreatitis, according to the brand.
The catch is that it is an extra for Butternut customers rather than a standalone shop item: you add it to your fresh food delivery. All the details are in the Butternut Box advent calendar 2026 page of its help centre, and our Butternut Box listing explains how the subscription works. Source: Butternut Box.
Doghouse Dog Advent Calendar 2026: £13.95
Bradford on Avon pet shop Doghouse is on its fourth calendar, with a “Woofmas Greetings” house scene illustrated by Lucy Moss. The Doghouse Dog Advent Calendar 2026 holds 24 crunchy banana, apple and blueberry bones, made with peas and sweet potato. The treats are grain and gluten free and suitable for vegetarians, the calendar is entirely plastic free, and it suits puppies from 12 weeks. Source: Doghouse.

Life of Riley Dog Advent Calendar: £11.95
The Shropshire bakery’s Life of Riley Dog Advent Calendar has a new look for 2026 and two biscuits behind every window, about 190g of treats in total. The recipes are grain free and plant based, with no added sugar, and the mix may include Minty Breath Christmas Trees, Beetroot Hearts, Hip and Joint Stars, mini Gingerbread Men and Bedtime Biccies (treats are picked at random). Suitable from 12 weeks; free delivery over £30, according to Life of Riley. Source: Life of Riley.
Prefer treats without the calendar?
If your dog is on a tailored food plan, the tails.com hand-baked biscuits come in duck with beetroot and cranberry, salmon with linseed and herbs, and chicken with sweet potato and turmeric, all grain free, and you can add them to your tails.com box. On 16 October 2026, the tails.com page was advertising 60% off a first box and 30% off the second for new customers. Our tails.com listing has the details.

Which dog advent calendar should you pick?
- Best value: Butternut Box at £9.99, if you are already a customer, with three meaty treats a day.
- For sensitive tummies: Life of Riley or Doghouse, both grain free; Life of Riley gives two biscuits a day.
- For a calming bedtime treat: Lily’s Kitchen, with its chamomile Bedtime Biscuits.
- For plastic-free packaging: Doghouse.
Whatever you choose, treats should only be a small part of your dog’s daily food, so cut back their dinner slightly in December, and check the ingredients if your dog has allergies. We have not tested these calendars with our own dogs.
