Degustabox, the monthly food discovery box, is offering £5 off your first box this month, which brings it down to £9.99 instead of the usual £14.99. The offer is shown on the official Degustabox website, and the October box has a Halloween flavour, with Degustabox already revealing a few of the treats inside. If you have been curious about the box, this is a good time to try it.
Here is what you get, what is in the October box so far, and the small print worth knowing before you subscribe.
What is the Degustabox offer this October?
- Your first box for £9.99 instead of £14.99, with £5 off.
- 10 to 15 food and drink products, which Degustabox says are worth over £24.
- After the first box, the subscription renews at £14.99 a month.

Degustabox also emailed subscribers on 2 October with a Halloween offer: a first box for £8.99 with three surprise Halloween gifts. That offer came from Degustabox’s email rather than its website, and it may end without notice, so the £9.99 price on the site is the one to count on.
What is in the October 2026 Degustabox?
In the same email, Degustabox gave a sneak peek at three of the October products: Lindt Choco Wafer, Jacob’s Crinklys Big Salt & Vinegar and Barratt Frumpkins, pumpkin-shaped sweets in time for Halloween. The rest of the box stays a surprise, as always.

With a stated worth of over £24, the first box at £9.99 gives you well over twice the price in products, provided you like what turns up.
What does a typical box look like?
Every month brings 10 to 15 products, a mix of new launches, big supermarket brands and pantry staples. For an idea of the range, the September box had Maggi Teriyaki Noodles, Paxo breadcrumbs, Barratt Flumps, Rubicon, Jacob’s Bites, Ko-Lee curry noodles and a Milkybar Aero, among others. We go through it item by item in our Degustabox September 2026 review.

Our verdict
At £9.99, the first Degustabox is a low-risk way to see whether a surprise food box suits you, especially if you enjoy discovering new snacks and do not mind the odd product that is not to your taste. Just set a reminder to cancel before the 1st of the month if you only want the one box, as the next one is charged at £14.99.
If you get hooked, the Degustabox Cosmic Christmas advent calendar 2026 has 24 full-size products for £39.99, and our Degustabox page has subscriber reviews and past boxes.
