It’s time to start the new year off with a bang – though not too much as cats don’t like loud noises! The latest box of Happy Meow Year goodies is plenty to see kitty well in to 2023. 
As always there’s a lovely selection of things to eat and things to play with.
My Meow is very good about sending out natural treats. They are so much better than than cheapie cereal-filled treats that are unfortunately all too common (cats are not designed to eat cereal of any kind!). Here we have Natural Eats Duck Fillet Mini Strips. These are really lovely, basically dried strips of duck which my cat is absolutely mad about! Also included is a bag of Scrumbles Gnashers, which are also grain-free, crunchy and tasty and good for looking after kitty’s teeth.
Three cute little toys here, which are themed as ‘resolutions’! All aimed at things that our kitties love to do, eat, sleep, and play. Each one is designed to the theme, with a little fish (not a real one though!), a fluffy furry ball, and a catnip filled little pillow.
My kitty decided to stag a sneak attack on the fish from underneath a chair!
This is a Kitty Sack! At first I thought it was a blanket, but then realised it’s like a little bag that is the sort of hiding place cats love. If you’ve ever seen one exploring a cardboard box or paper bag, you know exactly what I mean. This one is beautifully fluffy, and the lining also has crinkly material between the fluffy layers, so it makes the delightful crunchy sound that cats seem to adore. My kitty didn’t want to explore this one for the camera, but I’m fairly sure she’ll approach when she’s sure nobody’s watching!
And don’t forget, there’s a recyclable cardboard scratch pad at the bottom of every box.
