What is inside a Gus & Bella box?

According to the brand, each box holds eight to 12 products around a monthly theme:

One to three toys, gifts or health products for your cat.
Three to four cat-themed or wellness products for you.
Two to four natural, high-protein food items or treats.
Often handmade items from small independent makers.

Boxes can be tailored to adult cats or kittens, and one box can be shared in a multi-cat home. If your cat cannot have wet or dry food, Gus & Bella swaps it for an extra toy for £5.50. Most products stay a surprise until delivery day.

When are boxes charged and delivered?

Your subscription is charged on the 4th of each month, and boxes are posted to arrive between the 8th and the 12th by Royal Mail Tracked 48. The monthly cut-off is the 28th: if you order between the 29th and the 7th, your first box counts as a pre-order. Today, though, the first box is the October box and goes out within two days. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time from your account.

Our take: a good moment to try it

At £19.90 for eight to 12 items, the first box is cheap enough to test whether your cat cares about the toys and treats, and the free bed with the second box makes it worth keeping for two months before deciding. Gus & Bella has a 4.8 rating on Trustpilot from 286 reviews, according to its own page. We have not tested a box ourselves.
