Drinks by the Dram’s classic Gin Advent Calendar costs £74.95 for 25 wax-sealed 30ml drams, The Curious Drinker (the club formerly called Craft Gin Club) asks £89.99 for 24 double measures, and Virgin Wines lets you reserve its £99.99 calendar for £10 today.

Drinks by the Dram Gin Advent Calendar: 25 big names for £74.95
The best-known gin calendar is back with 25 doors, one more than most, so there is a gin for Christmas Day too. Each holds a 30ml wax-sealed dram. According to the Master of Malt listing, the 2026 line-up includes Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret and Flora Adora, Sipsmith London Dry, Chilli & Lime and Zesty Orange, Kyrö and Kyrö Pink, Malfy Gin Con Arancia, Tanqueray Rangpur Lime, Tarquin’s Rhubarb and Raspberry, The Lakes Classic Gin, Hoxton Tropical and Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger. Retailers note that the exact contents can change.
Master of Malt has the Gin Advent Calendar (2026 Edition) in stock at £74.95, and it is also available from Hard To Find Whisky at the same price. If you want rarer bottles, the Premium Gin Advent Calendar keeps the 25 doors and 30ml drams for £99.95. At £74.95, the standard edition works out at about £3 a dram.
The Curious Drinker Gin Advent Calendar: 24 double measures for £89.99
The Curious Drinker’s Gin Advent Calendar holds 24 different premium dry gins in 50ml double measures, picked by the club’s selection team from independent producers, and the brand promises rare and exclusive gins you will not find elsewhere. The 50ml size means each door is a proper G&T, or two small ones to share.
Two add-ons are worth knowing about: a Perfect Pairing Bundle (£35.99) of tonics, mixers and garnishes to match every gin, and a Gin & Rum Advent Calendar with 12 gins and 12 rums, also £89.99. Virgin Wines Gin Advent Calendar 2026: £10 now, the rest in November
Virgin Wines has the most wallet-friendly way to buy: you pay a £10 deposit to reserve its Gin Advent Calendar 2026, and the remaining £89.99 plus delivery is taken when it ships in November. Delivery is charged on top, so budget a little over £100 in total. Inside are 24 spirits, and Virgin Wines names, among others, Boe Peach & Hibiscus, Masons Yorkshire Tea Gin, Grace O’Malley Heather Infused Irish Gin, Rock Rose Smoked Orange, Warner’s Harrington Dry and Edinburgh Elderflower Gin Liqueur.
MicroBarBox: the full 24 gins or a gin and snack mix
MicroBarBox offers two gin calendars. The Gin Advent Calendar has 24 gins in 5cl miniatures for £105, and the Gin & Snack Advent Calendar alternates 12 gins with 12 snacks for £79. Delivery starts at £3.95 and is free on mainland UK orders over £50, so both calendars ship free.
Our verdict: which gin advent calendar should you buy?
- Best value for big names: Drinks by the Dram at £74.95. Twenty-five recognisable gins, a Christmas Day door and the lowest price here.
- Best for discovering small distilleries: The Curious Drinker at £89.99. Larger 50ml pours and independent gins, ideal if the gin lover in your life already owns the famous bottles.
- Best if you want to spread the cost: Virgin Wines, with £10 now and the balance in November, but count delivery on top.
- Best for a mixed gift: the MicroBarBox Gin & Snack calendar at £79, half gin and half nibbles.
Worth knowing: a 30ml dram at around 41% is about 1.2 UK units, and a 50ml measure at 40% is two units. The UK Chief Medical Officers advise no more than 14 units a week, so there is no shame in saving a few doors for the weekend.
