Diptyque’s 2026 advent calendar is on sale in the UK at £420. Called “25 scented treasures”, it holds nine candles, six eaux de parfum, a solid perfume, a hair mist and a run of body and hand care, all inside a reusable craftsman’s toolbox designed with the artist Jean-Simon Roch. An enchanted forest in a toolbox
Diptyque’s 2026 Christmas collection is built around an enchanted forest of wooden creatures drawn by Jean-Simon Roch, and the calendar is its centrepiece. The box is shaped like a craftsman’s toolbox with gold details and 25 drawers. Diptyque says it is made in France from FSC card and paper, and that you can keep it as a storage box afterwards, or remove the drawers to turn it into an open box. It is a substantial object: 24 x 16 x 36cm and 5.5kg.

What we think
Diptyque does not publish a stated worth for the calendar, so the value question comes down to what you would actually buy. The strength is the candle count: nine candles, two of them 70g, is unusual even in a luxury calendar, and Diptyque candles are what most people want from the brand. Six perfumes, including two exclusives, also make it a proper discovery set for anyone choosing a signature Diptyque scent.
The catch is the price. At £420, it costs more than the Jo Malone London advent calendar 2026 (£375, 25 treats including 13 colognes), and most of the products are travel sizes. Several doors are practical rather than exciting, such as the basil odour-removing candle and room spray. If you mostly want perfume, the Selfridges fragrance advent calendar 2026 (£225) or the LOOKFANTASTIC Fragrance advent calendar 2026 (£150) give you more bottles for less.
