DedaBox opens on 27 November with £45 and £69 surprise boxes picked from a quiz

DedaBox is a new UK surprise box that picks every item around you, using a one minute taste quiz. On 3 November 2026, the official DedaBox site is taking waitlist sign-ups and says doors open on Friday 27 November. A box of five items costs £45 a month and a Luxe box of seven costs £69, with UK delivery included.

What is inside DedaBox?

• DedaBox: five items, picked around your quiz answers, at £45 a month on a plan.
• DedaBox Luxe: seven items, at £69 a month on a plan.
• Categories: skincare, beauty, fragrance, fashion accessories, home and lifestyle, and fitness and wellness. You tap the ones you want and say what you would rather avoid.
• A note with each item explaining why it was picked for you.
• Brands: DedaBox says it picks from independent brands and names Jim + Henry, Bare Kind, wxy. and Myga among those in its first boxes.

What we think

The pitch is personalisation. You answer a quiz about what you love and what to avoid, and the brand hand-picks the items, so two members should not get the same mix. That is more flexible than a box with one theme, but it also means you cannot know what you will receive before you pay.

There are two things the site does not give you yet. It states no worth for the contents, so there is no figure to compare the price against. And it does not say whether the items are full size, with its brands page talking about “trial or full-size products”. At £45 for five items, the price works out at £9 an item, and at £69 for seven it is £9.86. Judging whether that is good value will have to wait for the first boxes and for what members say about them.

Dates and offers to know

Nobody can order before doors open, including people on the waitlist. The site says that subscribing in launch week, the first week after 27 November, makes you a founding member, with your price locked for 12 months and a surprise extra in your first box.

The first Box Day is Tuesday 15 December 2026, and boxes on a plan arrive around that date. To be in it, you need to start a plan by 8 December. From January, Box Day is around the 1st of each month, and you need to join by the 20th of the month before.

There is also a referral offer: share your waitlist link, and the 20 people with the most friends joining each get their first DedaBox free. The offer closes on Friday 20 November at 23:59 UK time, and bringing three friends earns a surprise extra in your first box.

Flexibility and gifting

There is no contract. You can choose a box every month or every two months, skip a box, pause for up to three months, or cancel in two taps. A single box with no plan costs £49 or £75, which is £4 and £6 more than the plan prices. You can also send a box as a gift with a note, as one box, a monthly gift, or three or six months paid once.

Delivery is included anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland, although the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and BFPO addresses are not covered yet.
