CANOPY’s seasonal subscription costs £39 to £49 a quarter, with a 230g candle and surprise gift

CANOPY, the UK candle and skincare brand Canopy Beauty, has launched a seasonal subscription. Every three months it sends a 230g hand-poured soy candle and a surprise skin or self care gift in a recyclable gift box, with free UK delivery. The price depends on which official page you read: on 3 November 2026 the subscription page says £39, while the product page says £49.

What is inside the CANOPY seasonal box?

• A full size candle: a limited edition, hand-poured 230g soy wax candle in the season’s scent, with up to 50 hours of burn time.
• A seasonal surprise: a CANOPY skincare or self care gift that you do not choose.
• A scent card linking the season’s fragrance to a self care routine.
• A hand-wrapped, recyclable gift box, with free UK standard delivery.
• Wellbeing Points added to your CANOPY account with every box dispatched, to spend on CANOPY products.
• A £1 donation to Rainforest Concern for every box dispatched.

Why are there two prices?

The subscription page says “Only £39 every 3 months” and a box value “always worth over £70”, and gives a launch date of 3 November. The terms of service say “Quarterly plan: £39.00 every 3 months” and “Each box has a minimum value of £90 RRP”, although they also still give a first launch of November 2025, so they may be out of date. The product page, which is where the “Subscribe here” button on the subscription page leads, shows a quarterly subscription at £49 and a value of over £90.

So the figures do not match, and CANOPY does not say which one is final. £49 is the price on the page where you actually add the plan to your cart, so treat it as the safer figure to budget for, and check the total at checkout. Either way, delivery is included.

Is there a winter box?

Not yet. CANOPY says it ships one box a season (winter, spring, summer and autumn) and that once a box sells out, subscribers join a waitlist for the next release. On 3 November 2026 the product page sells a box called “Ritual After Dark | New Autumn Edit Box” and it can be added to the cart, so it is not sold out. No winter box is listed on the site yet.

What we think

On the brand’s own prices, the candle is the part you can measure. The product page’s contents block lists a 230g First Light candle at £42, so at £49 you would be paying a little over the candle price for the surprise gift, the gift box and the points. The catch is that this block still describes a Summer Edition Box, with a Retinal Ritual at £38 and a Nocturnal Renewal Mask at £58, which together with the candle add up to £138, well above the “over £90” box value. The page does not say what is in the current box, and the surprise gift means you cannot know before you subscribe.

It is a giftable box, with wrapping and delivery included, and it can be paused, skipped or cancelled. The brand says you can cancel before your next billing date, and that if billing has already been processed, the cancellation applies to the next season. Payment is taken every three months, seven days before the seasonal dispatch.

• Stated value: over £90 on the product page and in the terms, and over £70 on the subscription page.
• Boxes: four a year, one at the start of each season, with a candle, a surprise gift and a scent card.
• Delivery: free standard delivery, UK only.
• Billing: quarterly, seven days before dispatch, with pause, skip or cancel before the next billing date.
• Returns: a 14 day cooling-off period, for unopened items in resale condition.
