YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife.Each box contains 5 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.
They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).
After the excitement of October and Halloween, YumeTwins is going for a calmer vibe this month with the Cafe Chillout box.
Cosy looks to be the name of the game here, as the weather gets colder and we want to bundle up as we work and relax.
This might look like a nail polish, but it is actually a Dreamy Nail Polish Highlighter! The little character on the front is a cotton candy fairy bunny. There is one of a possible five cute pastel highlighter pens in the box, and this one is this lovely soft pink. What a lovely way to annotate your notes.
We can never have too many pens and pencils, but we need somewhere to keep them! Fortunately this Giant Milk Carton Pouch is a great way to store and carry various writing items.
It zips up the back, and will slip nicely into a bag or briefcase. The pattern and shape is made to look like a milk carton, and while there are a couple of amusing typos (very common when English is translated) they actually add to its charm.
This Sanrio Reusable Pocket Straw is one of the most fantastic and practical items I’ve seen. Coming in one of seven Sanrio characters, the pack contains not one but two silicone straws that fold up to fit in the little carry case. Also included is a brush to clean the inside of the straw. Whether you use it at home or out and about, you never need to use a plastic straw ever again!
Another super practical item, this Kawaii Character Plush Bag is perfect for carrying around your bits and pieces! There are nine different kawaii characters available, and I have this lovely Pompomurin version.
The bag itself is well designed, from the cosy plush material to the separate sections inside as well as an extra zipped pocket on the outside.
Finally, a set of TsumTsum Light Bulb Erasers. Coming in a variety of cute Disney characters, the little lightbulb-shaped holder has a chain for hanging and contains twelve tiny erasers. Great to carry around and share with your friends!
