YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife.Each box contains 5 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.
They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).
Working from home has certainly been a thing recently, so YumeTwins has come up with this totally on-point theme for this month’s box: Work Kawaii, Play Kawaii.
What a fab idea to make your home workspace more kawaii and fun!
I’m seeing a lot of cute and premium characters in the menu. There’s also competitions and giveaways to look out for on social media!
Splatoon X Sanrio Cups. You get one of a selection of lovely melamine cups featuring a mashup between the Nintendo game Splatoon and various Sanrio characters.
My cup features Cinnamaroll, wearing fun Splatoon-style clothing and with the little characters dotted about.
I love these melamine cups, they are so cute, very useful, plus they can be used for warm drinks and are even dishwasher safe!
Animal Crossing has become very popular lately, and this cute Animal Crossing Decal Sticker is one of eight designs that feature characters and locations from the game. It’s a nice robust sticker too, and would look great decorating a laptop or even a large phone case.
This Pocket Surprise Towel is a useful portable little hand towel featuring a Sanrion or San X character. Mine is one of the Sumikko Gurashi characters.
The clever thing about the towel is that it folds up into a little pocket with the character’s face, which makes it very easy to fit into your bag. There is also a little loop on top to hang it up out of the way.
This is one of my most favorite items ever! This Sanrio Round Mousepad will come in either My Melody or Gudetama design. I’m so happy I got a Gudetama, because he is my favourite kawaii character! It’s such a cute design, and incredibly useful and adds the perfect finishing touch to my desk!
Finally, a Mystery Plushie. There are various plushies that appear in the box this month, from medium to XL size! They’re all designs that have been particularly popular in the past, and include Disney, Kirby, and others. This lovely Tsum Tsum Mickey Mouse plushie is of a fairly impressive size, and is gorgeous and soft and cuddly.
