WufWuf – July 2019: Groom Box

WufWuf has quickly become one of the UK’s most popular pet subscription boxes and having had the pleasure of reviewing them for a number of months now, it’s easy to see why! Each box is delivered straight to your door and comes packed full of toys, treats and other exciting dog-related goodies for your favourite four-legged friend.

Curious to find out more? Here’s what’s inside this month’s WufWuf box which is themed ‘Groom Box’.

Nilaqua Towel-Off Pet Shampoo

Fitting a grooming box perfectly, this Nilaqua Towel-Off Pet Shampoo has an innovative cleaning formula which means that no water is required. Simply apply directly to your dog’s coat, massage in to lather and then towel dry to remove – super easy! The shampoo is hypoallergenic, pH balanced and alcohol-free to be as gentle as possible.

JW Hol-ee Bone Toy

My dog Toby loves the toys that come in the WufWuf boxes and this month, there’s a large Hol-ee Bone Toy from the American brand JW. It features a squeaky ball encased in a honeycomb style network of durable rubber.

Toby loves it! He has managed to bite off some of the rubber so far so I’ve had to keep an eye out when he’s playing with it, but so far, the ball in the middle part is still intact. We shall see how long it lasts with this power-chewer!

Pet Munchies Venison Stix

Moving onto dog treats, there are two different packs, all from British brands. The first ones that we tried were the Venison Stix from Pet Munchies which are made with real Venison meat and feature 100% all-natural ingredients, as well as Vitamins A & E. These went down very well with both of my dogs!

Wagg Treats Training Mini Bones

The second pack is from Wagg and these are Training Treats shaped like Mini Bones which can be used from the age of 8 weeks. They are oven-baked and contain a mix of Beef, Chicken and Lamb, as well as added Calcium for a healthy treat that can be given at any time of the day. Again, both of my dogs loved these!

Animal Instincts Snow Mates Reindeer Toy

I was pleased to see another toy in the box and this is a standard soft toy with a squeaker from Animal Instincts. It was a little strange to receive a Reindeer in the middle of July, but Toby doesn’t seem to mind at all ;)

He loves playing with soft toys like this, although I am not expecting it to last very long as he has already ripped the antlers off – oops!

Cooper & Pals Grooming Mitt

To complete this month’s WufWuf box, there’s a handy Grooming Mitt from Cooper & Pals. Made from soft and flexible silicone which is easy to clean, this grooming mitt massages, cleans, smooths and manages your dog’s coat beautifully and has an adjustable hand strap.
