Listed as the Best Vegan Subscription Box by The Independent earlier this year, The Vegan Larder has been going from strength to strength and they are now celebrating their birthday (check out the discount codes at the end of this review to take advantage of their brilliant Birthday offers!), which goes to show how popular veganism has become!
The Vegan Larder has a range of deluxe and gourmet boxes on their website, many of which have been put together as one-off Gift Boxes, but they also offer a fantastic monthly subscription box which is what I’m going to share with you all today.
But first, here are the prices:-

The monthly boxes are packed to the brim with delicious vegan products that will help you out in the kitchen and make your meals even tastier, so expect interesting ingredients, sauces, dips, dry goods, that sort of thing – plus one or two cheeky sweet treats too.
All of the products inside come from independent and ethical businesses, and everything has been checked to make sure that it’s 100% palm oil free which is fantastic to see!
I was super excited to open up the latest May Deluxe Box when it arrived a few days ago, so here’s what I found inside:-
Cotswold Gold Raspberry & Wholegrain Mustard Drizzle
The first product that I picked up is this beautiful Raspberry & Wholegrain Mustard Drizzle from Cotswold Gold. Made simply from a blend of award-winning, traditional cold-pressed Rapeseed Oil, Raspberry Vinegar and Wholegrain Mustard, this tasty mix will liven up any salad or pasta dish, and it’s naturally high in Vitamin E and Omegas too – yum!
Cheeky Food Silly Sesame Sprinkle
I love the name of this! Silly Sesame Sprinkle is made by a family run business and is packed full of roasted Sesame Seeds, Garlic, Cumin and Chilli. Add a small amount to Avo Toast, over Salads and Soups, or sprinkle over roasted Veg for loads of extra flavour.
Chilli Chop Co Jollof Sauce
Inspired by the traditional West African dish of Jollof Rice, this sauce is a fiery blend of mainly Red Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Scotch Bonnet Chillies with lots of spices. It comes with a recipe card attached and I’m really looking forward to trying it out as I enjoy any meal that has a spicy kick to it!
Nature Kitchen Fajita Spice
Handmade by Ally who makes all of her own spice blends for Nature Kitchen, Fajita Spice is a delicious Mexican style seasoning which can be used as a rub, marinade or dip for a variety of plant-based dishes. The Vegan Larder have recommended using it with Lentils, Beans and Jackfruit, as well as on top of Nachos – yum!
The Real Coconut Organic Coconut Flour Tortilla Chips
I’ve tried out a lot of healthier tortilla chips but this is the first time that I’ve come across a variety which are made from Coconut Flour which is really interesting. Created by Danielle Hunter, whose products are focused on digestive wellbeing and sustainable living, these tortilla chips are very addictive and moreish! Perfect to dip into homemade Guacamole.
Elements For Life Yummy Scrummy Raw Chocolate Brownie
For a rich and indulgent sweet treat, this Raw Chocolate Brownie from Elements For Life really hits the spot! Crafted from the finest Criollo raw Cacao Beans which are sourced from small scale farmers, the brownie is really thick and contains a good source of your daily Magnesium.
Vive Natural Protein Hazelnut Snack Bar
Coated in Belgian Dark Chocolate, Vive’s Natural Protein Snack Bar in Hazelnut contains 10g of plant-based protein for the ideal post-workout/gym treat to help refuel your body. I love the all-natural ingredients which make the bar so moreish as there are Dates, Pea Protein and lots of Nuts.
Clearspring Organic Snacks
For something savoury to nibble on while you’re travelling or commuting, these little Snack Packs from Clearspring are perfect for those who want something healthy and gluten-free. I enjoyed both of these flavours but the Tamari Roasted Soya with Tomato & Herb was especially good as it’s so different from the kinds of snacks that I usually pick up.
Clearspring Organic Matcha Shot Samples
I also found two Matcha Shot samples from Clearspring at the bottom of the box. These are made from premium grade Matcha Green Tea and are great for blending into smoothies or green juices to kickstart your day.
Boundless Activated Nuts & Seeds
Finally, the last product is a packet of Activated Nuts & Seeds from Boundless. The nuts and seeds are ‘activated’ using ancient Aztec and Aborigine method which helps to release the natural enzymes and nutrients, making them even better for your gut to digest. They are coated with Turmeric and Smoked Paprika for a lovely subtly spicy flavour.
