I am the proud mother of an 18 month old little boy who is a wonderful child and who keeps me (very) busy. I am also a working other whose husband is a busy professional often travelling abroad. Like most working parents, I am thankful for things that make my life easier and more practical.
I have just received my first personalized baby box from Sassy Bloom! It has put a smile on my face when I saw it sitting on my door steps. The box was large and beautifully wrapped. I let my son unwrap it and delightfully explore its content. Who does not like a box full of goodies? Together we have discovered several items from a snack bag to disposable bibs, kitchen tools to make fun shaped cakes and a soft beautiful cover with my son’s name and date of birth on it, among others…
The box was accompanied by a very touching letter from Hollie Sassienie, explaining the path life took her through and that led to the birth of Sassy Bloom. The story made me feel like we had just built a relationship. It did feel like each item was handpicked!
Over the following couple of days, I have tried our new gadgets and found their quality to be very high. Some were brands I was familiar with, others unknown. I am tempted to find out what else they make.
I need to mention, however, that I already owned a couple of the items I have received as part of the box. And though it is nice to have new cleaner versions of baby items, I would have enjoyed more surprising gifts, unexpected items. Or toys for my son (though the colourful kitchen tools did the trick ;))
O and by the way, the fancy Thompsons chocolate box (which disappeared within a day) was a nice touch for mommy!
