Roccabox – November 2018

If you’re a regular subscriber to Roccabox, you may have received your box a little later than usual, and there’s a note inside this month’s box to apologise which I thought was very decent of the company to admit, as they’ve had one or two picking/packing issues. However! They are back up and running as usual now, and November’s Roccabox is themed ‘Me Time’ for all the ladies who deserve a pamper (that’s all of you!).

This month’s box is also a special collaboration with Freeman Beauty who are offering all subscribers an exclusive 30% off all of their products online with the code ‘rocca30’.

Let’s check out what’s inside, shall we?

Freeman Beauty Infusion Cleansing Sheet Mask (RRP £5.99)

The first product that I pulled out of the box is a Cleansing Sheet Mask from Freeman Beauty’s Infusion range. Formulated with Charcoal and Probiotics, this mask helps to instantly boost purity and will also clear up your pores in just 15-20 minutes. It has a soft 100% bamboo sheet mask material so it feels very soothing and pampering!

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Calming Sheet Mask (RRP £2.99)

The next product is another sheet mask from Freeman, this time from their Feeling Beautiful range. The Calming Mask is designed to be anti-stress and contains Lotus and Lavender Oil to instantly soothe, balance and renew tired and dull skin. It smells gorgeous – definitely one to try if you love Lavender.

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Plumping Lip Mask (RRP £2.99)

Also from Freeman’s Feeling Beautiful range is this interesting Lip Mask which is infused with Manuka Honey and Nectarine extracts to deeply hydrate, soothe and soften dry and chapped lips. It also helps to plump them up for a fuller pout – perfect for all of those Christmas parties coming up!

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Polishing Dual Action Mask (RRP £1.50)

Next up, I found a Polishing Dual Action Mask from the same range and this is a really good one for all skin types. It contains Activated Charcoal which absorbs excess oil and helps to detox the skin, whilst Black Sugar exfoliates dead skin cells away, leaving your complexion smoother and brighter as a result.

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Purifying Clay Mask (RRP £1.50)

For a quick and easy pampering treat when you’re short on time, this Purifying Clay Mask gets to work in just 10 minutes and contains Avocado, Oatmeal and Vitamin E to purify pores, giving them a deep clean and leaving your skin much more nourished afterwards.

Nire Beauty Classic Foundation Brush (RRP £10)

To give your pamper session an even more relaxing and luxurious feel, why not apply your face mask with a brush like a professional at a spa? This one from Nire Beauty has silky soft synthetic bristles which are firm and tapered to give a flawless finish. You can obviously use it as a proper foundation makeup brush too!

Patisserie de Bain Cranberries & Cream Heart Bombs (RRP £4.99)

I wasn’t able to get a good close up photo of these heart-shaped bath bombs because when I picked them up out of the box, they pretty much turned into dust as it looked like they’d taken quite a bit of a bashing during transit sadly, but I can say they smelt really good!

There was also a free sachet sample of Pure Chimp Turmeric Matcha Green Tea included in this month’s box which was absolutely delicious :)

Our score: 7.8/ 10

Personally, I prefer more variety in my beauty boxes, however, I did enjoy the pampering theme as self-care is such an important topic at the moment. Hopefully, next month's box will feature a better selection of brands though.
