The Pip Box – September 2018: The Me Time Edit

Looking for a beauty box where all of the contents are guaranteed to be cruelty-free? The Pip Box specialises in just that and expertly caters to a growing consumer base who only want to buy from and support cruelty-free brands (this is something that I completely agree with!). I love these boxes because there’s always something new for me to discover and you get to try out a range of interesting products every month.

The Pip Box also donates 50p from every box sold to the charity Animal Free Research UK, which helps to fund their anti-animal testing campaigns and research into alternatives, so it’s a real winner all round!

This month’s box is themed The Me Time Edit and has been specially curated to help you relax and take some time out of your busy schedule. There are seven products included so let’s take a closer look:-

The Natural Beauty Pot Rose Bath Salts (RRP £4)

There’s nothing more relaxing than taking a long hot bath and these Bath Salts from The Natural Beauty Pot are infused with the delicate fragrance of real roses for a really luxurious and pampering experience. The frosted glass bottle looks very chic in the bathroom too.

Honeypie Minerals Blusher in Pink Rose (RRP £7.99)

Next up, I was pleased to find a Honeypie Minerals Blusher in a gorgeous everyday Pink Rose shade. This colour looks very flattering on and gives a gorgeous glow to the skin – it really helps to wake up your complexion! This natural makeup range has won numerous awards and I’ll definitely be checking out more of their products after trying this blush.

Hair Benefits Organic Eyelash & Eyebrow Enhancing Oil (RRP £8)

Give your lashes and brows some extra TLC with this special dedicated Enhancing Oil by Hair Benefits. Handmade in England, the unscented formula contains Castor Oil to nourish, revitalise and revive eyebrows and eyelashes. It has an easy to use brush applicator so you can sweep on a layer as part of your evening/night time beauty routine.

Spacemasks Self Heating Eye Mask (RRP £3.50)

You may have seen these star-studded packs on Instagram and Youtube recently as there’s a big buzz around Spacemasks! Inside is a self-heating eye mask that will not only help to relax tired eyes, but it also helps to create a little ‘time out’ for yourself so that you can truly enjoy being in the moment for 10 minutes or so.

Dr Botanicals Charcoal Superfood Mattifying Face Mask (RRP £14.90)

Worth nearly £15 on its own, this full-size Dr Botanicals face mask uses the star ingredient of Charcoal to deeply cleanse and exfoliate your complexion, leaving it more balanced and mattified afterwards. Great to use before a big night out or special occasion to help you look your very best.

Cuderm Cream Moisturising Cream (RRP £2.75)

Brand new on the beauty scene, Cuderm Cream is a specialist Moisturising Cream that’s been developed for dry and sensitive skin. It features an alcohol-free formula and can be used on both the body and the face, as and when your skin needs a boost of hydration that will last all day.

Livia’s Kitchen Raw Cookie Dough Nugglets (RRP £1.50)

As a special bonus treat this month, The Pip Box has included a delicious bag of Livia’s Kitchen Nugglets! These raw cookie dough bites are covered in chocolate and are suitable for vegans, as well as being dairy and gluten-free, so lots of people can enjoy them. They’re very moreish!

Our score: 9.8/ 10

Wow, what a great box! My faves were the Rose Bath Salts, Honeypie Minerals Blusher and of course, those yummy Livia's Kitchen Nugglets!
