Mask Time – November 2018: Glow Setter Box

Mask Time is a popular skincare subscription service which specialises in Korean beauty sheet masks. They offer two types of monthly subscription box; The Glow Starter (a smaller box for newbies to the sheet masking trend), and The Glow Setter Box (a much larger box for those who use sheet masks on a regular basis). All of the sheet masks are authentic Korean brands and it’s a lovely pampering treat to look forward to!

November’s Glow Setter Box celebrates Mask Time‘s 1st Birthday and is packed full of masks to help you get your glow on for the festive season ahead. Here’s everything that I found inside:-

Mamonde In Shower Mask Dewy Glowy Moisturising (RRP £3.50)

I’ve never seen a sheet mask that you use in the shower before so I was quite intrigued by this one! The idea behind it is that the steam from your shower will help your skin to absorb the mask’s ingredients causing a ‘steam towel effect’. It contains Ceramide to strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier, whilst Hibiscus Extract and Amino Acid Complex provide nourishment and hydration. Interesting!

Frienvita N.M.F Royal Crown Mask (RRP £4)

A mask that’s fit for a Queen, this one from Frienvita features a unique NMF Royal Triple complex which hydrates and illuminates the skin thanks to a blend of powerful moisturising properties such as Amino Acids and Hyaluronic Acid. Rosemary, Sage and Aloe extracts are also included to nourish the skin and calm any redness or sensitivity.

NOHJ Milky Glow Recovery Mask (RRP £3.50)

Let your skin recover after all of those Christmas parties with NOHJ’s Milky Glow Recovery Mask! Formulated with key ingredients such as Portulaca Extract, Milk Enzymes, Rice Bran and Aloe, this mask will help to calm irritated skin, heal any damage and reduce any redness.

Illiyoon Camelia Oil Nutrition Mask (RRP £3)

Next, I found the Camelia Oil Nutrition Mask from Illiyoon. This is a great one to use for anyone who is suffering from dry patches, red cheeks or overall dehydration because it focuses on cell regeneration. Camelia Oil is also a powerful antioxidant and combined with moisturising ingredients, this mask will leave your skin glowing in no time at all.

Too Cool For School Coconut Oil Serum Eye Patch (RRP £4.50)

Treat your eyes to this pair of hydrogel eye patches which are soaked in a specialised formula to help prevent dryness. Containing Coconut Oil, Brazillian Coconut Water, Niacinamide and Adenosine, these patches will instantly brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, for younger, smoother looking skin.

The Face Shop MasCream Intense Sheet Soothing (RRP £4)

This intensely nourishing sheet mask is formulated with a super hydrating cream essence which feels like a full jar of face cream! The dense microfiber sheet adheres closely to the skin, which makes it feel comforted and soothed. Made without parabens, this mask helps to revitalize tired and dry skin thanks to hero ingredients such as Peptides and Quinoa.

Blumei N.M.F Black Aqua Ampoule Mask (RRP £3)

Another good option for those with very dry skin, this Black Aqua Ampoule Mask from Blumei contains Charcoal which balances out oil and water, helping to refresh pores and clear the skin of impurities, so that the hydrating ingredients can get to work better. Aloe Extract is also included to soothe away any irritations.

Mamonde Mix And Match Masks (RRP £3 each)

This next set is designed to be used together for the best possible results for your skin this festive season! The Plumpy Bounce Orange upper part mask is a hydrogel mask that’s infused with Camellia Extract to deliver essential moisture to help eliminate fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and forehead. The Moisture Holding Blue lower part mask is more of a creamy essence with Narcissus extract and Ceramide to hydrate and brighten. A match made in skincare heaven!

Banobagi Gold Propolis Injection Mask (RRP £4)

The last mask in the box comes from one of the most famous cosmetic surgery clinics in Korea, the Banobagi Clinic. Each mask in this unique range has the same real effect of an aesthetic injection, and this one features Glycerin to help maintain moisture, Gold extract for its anti-ageing properties, and Propolis which helps with skin regeneration for a brighter and younger looking complexion.
