Mask Time – April 2019: Glow Setter Box

Mask Time is a subscription box service that specialises in Korean sheet masks, making it an easy way to take part in one of the biggest skincare beauty trends around! They currently have two different boxes that you can subscribe to; the small Glow Starter (4 masks) and the bigger Glow Setter (8-10 masks). Both are delivered monthly and come packaged in a pale pink box with a full menu detailing all of the masks that are enclosed.

April’s Mask Time Glow Setter Box arrived a few days ago and contains all of the following masks, for a themed box that focuses on healthy and glowy skin:-

VT Cica + Care Mask (RRP £3.50)

First up, we have the VT Cica + Care Masl which is specially formulated for sensitive skin. It has a clinical grade non-woven fabric sheet which adheres like a second skin and is infused with skin-soothing ingredients. There’s Chamomile Extract to help fade scars and fight breakouts, whilst 1,000PPM of Centella Asiatica Extract has been included to boost collagen production, strengthen the skin’s natural barrier and improve elasticity.

Nature Republic Real Nature Hydrogel Mask Muscat (RRP £3)

Formulated with Green Grape Extract (Muscat), this next mask from Nature Republic helps to smooth rough skin and balance moisture levels. The Grape Extract contains Proanthocyanidins which helps to protect the structure of elastin and collagen, and Grapefruit Extract has powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties to regulate sebum and oil production.

SNP Blue Tension Hydra Lifting Mask (RRP £4.50)

For those who need a regular pick-me-up for their skin, try this one! It’s an ultra moisturising and firming treatment mask that contains Triple Hyaluronic Acid to deeply hydrate, whilst Seaweed Extract absorbs toxins and helps to prevent blemishes and breakouts from forming.

Blithe Blue Zone Abalone Intensive Mask (RRP £5.50)

Utilising all-natural and organic botanicals and plant-based extracts, Blithe are well known for its anti-pollution masks including this one which is infused with Abalone Extract which hydrates and nourishes the skin, and Sea Collagen that promotes, protects and accelerates the body’s collagen production levels.

Easydew Daily Double Hydra Cream Mask (RRP £4)

This ultra-fine, high-performance sheet mask delivers deep and lasting moisture to dull and flaky skin. It has a lovely cream texture that prevents the skin from drying out thanks to a combination of Amino Acids that maintain balanced moisture levels and EGF that helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Cure Solution Aloe Mask (RRP £3)

Next up, there’s an eco-friendly bio-cellulose sheet mask from Cure that’s made entirely from Aloe fibres. These are then infused with a solution of Aloe Vera to reduce any skin irritation or inflammation, Fermented Oat Extract which is an incredible anti-ageing and antioxidant moisturiser, and Seaweed Extract which helps to soften, soothe and reduce any sensitivity.

The Oozoo Fresh Capsule Mask Cocoon Silk (RRP £5.50)

To keep ingredients as fresh as possible, you’ll often come across these more expensive masks in the K Beauty world which features a capsule that you activate when you want to use the mask. This one from The Oozoo is rich in firming properties and has been specially formulated to hydrate and plump up your complexion with Silk Thread Extract and Triple Hyaluronic Acid.

Missha Phyto-Chemical Skin Supplement Chlorophyll Mask (RRP £3.50)

Next, I was pleased to find a mask from the popular brand Missha. This one is ideal for anyone who feels that their skin has lost its glow as it helps to bring that radiance back. Packed full of essential vitamins and nutrients, it uses Phytochemicals derived from vegetables and plants to calm and detox the skin.

A’pieu My Skin Fit Mask Baobab (RRP £3)

Made from a soft Lyocell fabric that’s derived from natural wood, the My Skin Fit Mask contains a huge amount of Baobab Seed Oil (6,000ppm to be precise) which helps to improve elasticity and rejuvenate damaged skin cells. In addition, there’s Ginger Extract which is highly revered for its natural anti-ageing properties to promote a youthful glow.

Wonderbath Super Vegitoks Mask (RRP £4)

Finally, the last mask in the box comes from Wonderbath and this is a great one to try if your skin needs some extra TLC when it comes to blemishes and spots. Spirulina Extract has been included for its powerful antibacterial and anti-ageing effects, and there’s also Lime Extract to treat any acne and blemishes, whilst helping to gently exfoliate and lighten dark spots at the same time.
