Lootaku – February 2020 DEADLY DAMES Evangelion/Demon Slayer/Fairy Tail

Lootaku is a premium monthly subscription based service to fulfill everybody’s geeky addictions. Our box features full figure statues and Asia exclusives that you will not find in any other subscription box. We promise no filler or promotional items, and our values are always based on current cheapest prices on Amazon.

Prices and values on the Lootaku website are given US dollars. A one month subscription is $44.99 (three and six month subscriptions are cheaper). This is around £35 and UK Shipping is $17.66, around £14. Slightly pricey, but this is a premium box. Also it’s coming a long way and it’s a big box!

So a 1 month subscription is going to cost you around £49.

This month’s box features female characters from Evangelion, Demon Slayer, and Fairy Tail

There is only one figure this month: Rebuild of Evangelion Premium Figure Asuka Langley (Ver 1.5)

Asuka Langley is the pilot of the Evangelion Unit-02.

Her outfit has been completely redesigned to reflect her appearance in the new movie Evangelion 3.0.

It’s a large PVC figure, made by Sega, almost 9″ tall, and apart from the base comes in a single piece.

This is a Bleach Replica Sword with stand Rukia Kuchiki  – Sode no Shirayuku.

In the anime Bleach, this particular sword has some excellent freezing powers. It’s wielded by Rukia Kuchiki.

This replica is nicely detailed item, and as well as a display piece it would work very well as a letter opener!

This is the first of two Demon Slayer items: Kimetsu No Yaiba Sleeping Chibi Mini Figure.

These are small figures, around 2″, and they shoe a childlike version of one of five possible characters, either asleep or like this one, waking up in bed. This character is Tanjiro Kamado.

This month’s pin is also Dragon Slayer, depicting Nezuko Kamado. As always it’s a large pin, and the colour and detail is spectacular.

Finally, this month’s t-shirt features Ezra from Fairy Tail.

Our score: 8.4/ 10

This month's figure is quite an unusual one, as the Sega figures feature less frequently that the usual Banpresto. However the figure itself is a good one, and it's nice to see more female characters! The minifigure I don't really count as another figure. It's definitely cute, but I think it's more a novelty than a proper display piece. The pin, as always, is superb, the detailing for an enamel pin is extremely impressive. On a different note, Lootaku has definitely been suffering from the disruption around the world, especially in Asia, where figures and merchandise are generally produced. I understand that they have chosen to skip the April box, due to the unreliability of shipping and production, and March is also delayed. However I very much hope that they continue on as far as possible, as Lootaku is really the only box for serious anime collectors and fans.
