Gambettes Box is a French subscription box service in which you receive two pairs of tights each month for £13.90. The designs of the tights each month are inspired by the street style found in Paris. I loved the December box as well as the January Gambettes box so I couldn’t wait to see what the February box included. The tights come in a magazine cover like box which I love but I do wish that the velvet pouch that was included in the December box was a permanent addition.
The first pair of tights in the February box are the Serge black ajoure patterned tights which are 50 denier. There have been a few pairs of patterned black tights in the past few boxes but I’ve loved all of them. This pattern is fairly suble but I like the design, the 50 denier opacity is perfect for this time of the year and they are easy to put with any outfit. I’ll definitely be wearing these tights over the last month or so of winter with my jumper dresses and heeled ankle boots.
The second and final pair of tights are the Jane tights which are plum coloured and 60 denier. I don’t own any coloured tights so these are a little out of my comfort zone and to be honest, I had no idea what to pair them with! I do like the colour but I don’t think I will get much use out of them. However, they are comfortable, they fit really well (I’m a UK 8 and I have the medium size option, just for reference) and the quality is fantastic! The quality of all of the tights I’ve received in the Gambettes boxes over the past few months has been amazing and so much better than the cheaper tights I was using previously.
