Degustabox – April 2019: Best Of British

Robinsons Fruit Cordial in Pressed Pear & Elderflower (RRP £2.49)

First up, I found a lovely glass bottle of Robinsons Fruit Cordial in the flavour Pressed Pear & Elderflower. Robinsons have been making drinks since 1823 and their cordials are a popular household staple for many across the UK. This flavour is lovely for Spring and has a refreshing, sweet and fruity taste. Try adding a little to sparkling water for an alcohol-free drink to enjoy at your next BBQ.

Typhoo Black Tea (RRP £2.20)

We Brits love our tea so it was no surprise to see a huge box of Typhoo Tea in this British themed Degustabox! A much-loved classic since 1903, Typhoo Black Tea uses only the finest tea leaves to ensure quality and freshness in every cuppa.

Heinz Beanz Organic (RRP £1)

I’m a big fan of supporting organic produce, so it was great to see a can of Heinz Beanz from their organic range. Counting as 1 of your 5 a day, this tin is packed full of the finest organically grown ingredients, with all the same flavour and comfort as the original Heinz Beanz – yum!

Heinz Cream Of Tomato Pot Soup (RRP £1.19)

Also from Heinz, there’s a pot of their classic Cream Of Tomato Soup, this time repackaged in a convenient microwavable pot that’s handy to take to work or college/Uni when you need a quick and easy lunch.

London Flavours Street Food Crisps in Pho (RRP £1) 

Next up, I found a bag of crisps from London Flavours. These are gluten-free, vegan-friendly and from the brand’s new Street Food range that’s inspired by tasty flavours from around the world. You’ll find one of three flavours in your Degustabox this month and I received Pho which was delicious!

Nestle Cheerios Multigrain (RRP £2.69)

New from Nestle are these Cheerios Multigrain which are a healthier alternative to regular Cheerios. Made from five wholegrain ingredients, they contain nine essential vitamins and minerals, are high in fibre and contain no artificial colours or flavours for a healthier start to your day.

Skinny Food Co Not Guilty Milk & White Chocolate Crispies (RRP £1.49 each)

If you’re looking for a low fat, low sugar, high protein snack to eat on the go, these Not Guilty Chocolate Crispies from the Skinny Food Co are amazing! Each pack is less than 100 calories and have no-added sugar which is brilliant to see. I really liked both of these flavours, especially the White Chocolate which tasted liked such a treat!

Eat Water Slim Rice Sushi (RRP £2.25)

For something different to try, there’s a pack of Slim Rice Sushi from Eat Water. This easy to roll sushi rice is made with natural ingredients such as Japanese Sushi Rice and Konjac Rice. It contains only 9 calories per piece, is vegan-friendly, gluten-free, fat-free, salt-free and sugar-free. Not a fan of sushi? You can use it to make a bowl of low-fat sticky rice instead.

Crafted by Cracker Drinks Co in Mango & Passionfruit (RRP £2)

Counting as 1 of your five a day, this carton of Mango & Passionfruit juice from Cracker Drinks’ Crafted range contains no added sugar or sweeteners and comes packaged in an environmentally friendly carton. Perfect to pack into your lunchbox or drink on the go.

Pachamama Bars in Andean Berries & Raspberry and Cacao & Cashew (RRP £1.39 each)

Next up, I found two healthy bars from Pachamama. Each one is packed full of a delicious mix of cacao, dates, nuts, grains and seeds, with no added sugar – they’re also suitable for vegans as they are dairy-free – yay! Both of these flavours were really good but my fave was definitely the Cacao & Cashew!

Candy Kittens Gourmet Sweets in Wild Strawberry (RRP £1.50)

For the ultimate gourmet sweets, you can’t go wrong with Candy Kittens who have a wide range of tasty flavours to treat your sweet tooth to! These ones are in Wild Strawberry and are free from gelatine and gluten, plus they taste amazing!

Bull’s Eye New York Steakhouse BBQ Sauce (RRP £2.49)

BBQ season is upon us so it’s a great time to try out a new BBQ sauce. This one from Bull’s Eye is a delicious smokey Steakhouse BBQ flavour that’s perfect for adding to burgers, hotdogs, grilled veggies, chips and more.

Love Corn in Smoked BBQ (RRP £1.29)

Finally, the last product comes from Love Corn and their premium corn snacks are perfectly seasoned with a delicious and satisfying crunch. Vegan-friendly, gluten-free, GM free and sugar-free, these are ideal for nibbling on when you’re watching a movie or catching up with friends.
