This month’s Crafty Creatives box was quite big but rather light! I was very curious to see what was inside.
It looks rather like a present, all wrapped with tissue and ribbon. And there’s a card on top!
The printing is very light, but this month’s project is a Luxury Modern Dreamcatcher.

Here are the bits inside. There’s a wooden hoop, which will be the frame, and beautiful decorations, some fluffy feathers and gorgeous fabric roses.
There’s the instruction sheet. And then ribbons. Lots of ribbons! They’re white and cream with some delicate pinks too, and different patterns and textures. There’s also twine, but that’s not so interesting on its own, it’s for making the pattern in the middle of the hoop.
This looks both intriguing and very pretty. I love the slightly boho look of the design, and the pastel colours will look wonderful just about anywhere.
Best of all, you can really be creative with this. There are lots of ways to thread the twine online, and I’m quite excited about having a go myself! And because it’s homemade and slightly shabby chic, it doesn’t really matter how the threading turns out.
All the different ribbons will give it a lovely visual variety, especially with the pale colour scheme.
I’m really going to enjoy making this craft, and while I know a couple of people who would like it as a gift, I may well keep it for myself!
