Gin Of The Month: Brass Lion Singapore Dry Gin (70cl / 40% ABV)
Craft Gin Club has taken a trip to the Far East this month and brought back this very special gin from Brass Lion. In fact, Craft Gin Club members are the first to be able to try this gin in the UK!
Distilled in Singapore, this is a lovely tropical gin that’s fit for the summer. Wonderfully refreshing and citrusy, it features botanicals such as Juniper, Torch Ginger Flower, Lemongrass, Orange Peel, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Galangal, Tamarind, Cinnamon, Cardamon and Coriander Seed to name but a few that are included in this unique and exotic award-winning mixture.
Drinks & Mixers: Twisted Tonic Water Thai Lime & Lemongrass, Upstream Strawberry & Lychee, and Martin Frobisher’s Cherry Juice
This month sees an interesting selection of drinks and mixers. For the perfect G&T, try the Twisted Tonic Water Thai Lime & Lemongrass which is the ideal match for the Singapore gin, and after that, you can use Martin Frobisher’s Cherry Juice to create the Cocktail Of The Month recipe (found in your GINNED! magazine). For a refreshing soft drink that can be drunk on its own or as a mixer, the Upstream Strawberry & Lychee is bursting with fruity flavours.
Extras: Singapore Fling Cocktail Syrup & Pineapple & Pink Peppercorn garnish
The finishing touches to your drinks this summer! Add a splash of the Singapore Fling Cocktail Syrup to the Cocktail Of The Month recipe for a Singapore Sling with a delicious twist. Don’t forget to try the Pineapple & Pink Peppercorn garnish to add extra flavour to the perfect G&T. Bottoms up!
Premium Snacks
To round off this month’s box, there’s an array of tasty premium snacks to go with your drinks. Usually, there are some sweet offerings but this time around, it’s all savoury with a distinct sweet chilli vibe – yum! I particularly enjoyed the Wild Cassava Sweet Chilli & Onion crisps and Uncle Saba’s Sweet Chilli Poppadoms.
