WootBox is a wonderfully geeky subscription box that offers over £45 worth of geeky goodies every month for £20.99 per month. The theme for each month changes and this months box is based around ‘beasts’ which is such a unique theme!
The boxes contains a selection of geeky goodies, the selection within the July box ranges from a figurine, t-shirt and bento box to a pin and keyring. All of the franchises featured in the July box are either nostalgic or are some of my current favourites.
First of all, let’s mention how amazing the box design is for the July ‘Beasts’ box. I love the create design with monsters poking out! I love it when brands put time and effort into the packaging, especially with subscription boxes. The July LookFantastix box was also gorgeously designed!
There are five items in the July Wootbox, all of which I am so happy with! The franchises included range from Pokemon, Gremlins and Harry Potter to Game of Thrones and The Addams Family, all of which I love so my first Wootbox was amazing!
The first item is a Wootbox exclusive, it’s a Game of Thrones figurine from Titans Vinyl Figurines. The figurine is from a TV show that I am a little obsessed with and it’s of course, Game of Thrones. As the theme of this box is ‘beasts’ then the figurine has to be one of the three dragons! I’m going to keep mine on my bookshelves to guard my books!
One of the main selling points for me when it comes to subscription boxes are the exclusives and this one is amazing! I don’t have many figurines and I’m glad this one was included in the July Wootbox. This figurine is worth €20.
The next few items are so nostalgic for me as I loved these TV shows and films growing up! The first is a pin featuring Thing from The Addams Family. The Addams Family film from the 90’s was one of my favourites growing up, especially around Halloween! The pin is worth €4.
Another film that I loved growing up (and was quite terrified by) is Gremlins. Gremlins was a film that I hated because of the scary gremlins but I also loved it because of how cute and adorable Gizmo is! This keyring is so cute…unless you get it wet. The keyring is worth €9.95.
Lastly for the nostalgic items, a cute Pokemon Bento Box. Pokemon and Digimon were two of my favourite cartoons growing up, along with The Simpsons. With the resurgence of Pokemon via Pokemon Go (which no one seems to be playing anymore), it’s bringing back lots of nostalgia.
I love bento boxes but this is more of a lunchbox as bento boxes usually have boxes and separate compartments within them. This lunchbox is worth €10 and it is still very cute!
The final item in the July Wootbox is a Harry Potter item so obviously it’s my favourite item from the box! The Harry Potter series of books and films are some of my favourites to watch over and over. The t-shirt is worth €20.
Most Harry Potter t-shirts are quite generic but this one is cute and unique. I also love the gorgeous forest green colour! I received a mens size large which definitely isn’t my size but I actually love the cut of this t-shirt as t-shirts designed for women tend to be overly fitted with cap sleeves and cap sleeves are not cute on anyone!
Even though it’s oversized and long on me, I’ll definitely still wear it as I love the simple but unique design and it’s actually fine as a pyjama dress/t-shirt on me!
