I love trying out new subscription boxes and this one is my new favourite subscription box! Pop In A Box is a monthly subscription box in which you will receive numerous Funko Pop! figures. Depending on the box subscription you choose, you could receive Marvel or Disney pops as well as a wide range of other TV shows, movies or comic book characters including Game Of Thrones, Stranger Things, Harry Potter and many more.
You can choose to receive one pop per month, two, three, six or twelve pops per month. However, unlike almost every other subscription box out there, you can select which pop figures you want, you don’t want and ones you already have so you will never receive any that you have or that you don’t want to receive which is amazing!
I have the subscription option of three pops per month (£25.17 per month). Before the first box arrives you have to go through all of the figures and select whether you want that one, don’t want it, if you already have it or you can leave it unchecked. However, if you do then you might receive that one anyway.
It does take a while to go through and sort each figure, unless you don’t mind which ones you receive or if you like the majority of the fandoms available on the Pop In A Box website. The only thing I wish there was on the website was an area to view the figurines that haven’t been categorised into ‘want’ or ‘don’t want’ as it would be very useful!
The main fandoms I’m interested in include Harry Potter, Game Of Thrones and Lord Of The Rings although there are so many to choose from! I receive my November box at the end of November and it contained figures from Stranger Things and Lord Of The Rings.
I received 443 Gandalf which is such an incredibly cute and also surprisingly detailed figurine of Gandalf from Lord Of The Rings. He has his staff and sword and he is even a little battle worn!
I also received 514 Nancy and 513 Jonathan, both from Stranger Things which is definitely my favourite TV show of 2017. I love both of those characters, the pops are so cute and they will look great on my bookshelves next to my 442 Eleven figurine. Pop figures are so unique and adorable, I usually don’t like collectable figurines but the adorable design of these Funko Pop! figurines are just too much to resist!
