Glossybox – May 2018: Daydreamer

Glossybox subscribers are in for a treat this month as May’s edition has a special Daydreamer theme and features a gorgeous floaty cloud print box instead of their usual pale pink version. Inside, you’ll find five cruelty-free beauty products from exciting global brands that’ll help to soothe your senses, pamper you and let your worries drift away so that you can feel your very best.

With this in mind, I was excited to open it up! Let’s take a closer look at this month’s Glossybox contents:-

Gelspa Just For Feet Luxury Jelly Foot Soak (full size, RRP £4.99)

Our feet are easily neglected, so show yours some TLC with this soothing Luxury Jelly Foot Soak from the Welsh brand, Gelspa. This vegan-friendly and hypoallergenic formula features a specially developed powder which turns to water then to gel to soften and soothe tired feet. It’s an interesting product and also contains calming Lavender and Lemongrass so that your feet not only feel soft after using this, but also smell great too!

Maria Nila True Soft Shampoo & Conditioner (100ml travel sizes, £3.99 each)

Perfect to pop into your bag for your next Summer holiday, this travel-sized haircare duo from Maria Nila is from the Swedish brand’s popular True Soft range. Free from sulphates and parabens, this gentle formula will instantly soften, moisturise and strengthen your hair for frizz-free, shiny locks in a matter of minutes. I’ve tried some products from Maria Nila before and really enjoyed those, so I’m looking forward to testing these out over the bank holiday weekend.

Trifle Cosmetics Praline Palette (full size, RRP £15.55)

My favourite product from this month’s Glossybox is this gorgeous eyeshadow palette from Trifle Cosmetics. I love all of the earthy colours in this and the powders have a nice and smooth texture, plus it’s completely 100% vegan-friendly and free from lots of ‘nasties’ that are found in mainstream makeup. That pop of Purple and Silver adds a pretty finishing touch as well, so that you can experiment with some new looks.

Kueshi Facial Makeup Remover (full size, RRP £10.50)

Next, I found a Facial Makeup Remover from a Spanish brand that I haven’t come across before called Kueshi. This makeup remover solution has been specially formulated to remove waterproof and long-lasting makeup, and it’s suitable to use on the eyes and any other sensitive skin areas. I haven’t tried it yet but it sounds promising.

We Are Tea Earl Grey (1 teabag sample)

The last product is a nice little extra that Glossybox have added this month and you’ll receive one of two flavours from We Are Tea; Sleep Good Night or Earl Grey. I received the latter and it’s one of the best Earl Grey teas that I’ve ever tried! I’ll definitely be picking up a box of this on my next shopping trip – thanks Glossybox!
