Menzukuri Toridashi Shio from Maruchan
Served in a mildly salty soup with chicken-flavor and a gentle sweetness from the onions (⽟ねぎ, tamanegi). The richness of the soup comes from the flavor of kombu seaweed and dried bonito, and the flavor of roasted lard is added to give it a freshly cooked feel, together with sesame seeds and coarsely ground red pepper. The ingredients used as toppings are bok choy, menma (メンマ), and green onion. A satisfying and filling ramen bowl!
Nomihosu Ippai White Shio Butter Ramen from Acecook
Next, I tried the second ramen. The soup is made of pork extract with a hint of garlic (にんにく, ninniku). It’s a creamy salt soup with a comforting feeling. Add the attached butter block once the noodles are cooked, and watch it melt in the tasty salt soup to give it that deep mellowness you’re aiming for. A comforting Winter one!
Potato Deluxe Mild Salt Flavor from Calbee
Moving onto the snacks, these crisps are very thickly cut from Calbee. They come with a simple taste, seasoned with rock salt, that brings out the umami of the potatoes. Deliciously salty and crunchy.
Caramel Corn Whitemilk Flavor from Tohato
A very festive caramel corn! The Christmas-only “Caramel Corn White Milk Flavor”, delivered in a pack with a character dressed as a red-nosed reindeer, is made by adding fresh cream to caramel syrup to create a mellow and rich milk flavor.
Baby Star Ramen Umashio Flavor from Oyatsu Company
The classic, popular Baby Star delicious salt flavor has been renewed to be delicious. Baby Star is a ramen snack from Japanese food manufacturer Oyatsu Company. These savory Japanese snacks were created by accident in the 1950s, when the company founder (the late Yoshio Matsuda) decided to give excess instant noodles as snacks to his employees.
Noukou Choco Brownie Rich Milk from Bourbon
For something sweet, this Choco Brownie really hits the spot. baked with plenty of chocolate kneaded in and studded with chocolate chips, and half-coated with milk-filled chocolate. That’s a lot of chocolate in a single sentence, but not as much as you’re about to taste with your first bite.
