YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife.Each box contains 5 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.
They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).
February is of course the month of Valentine’s Day, so this month’s Be My Kawaii Valentine theme is all about cute romance!
There’s a list with descriptions of all the items inside, as well as showing you all the different possible options. The menu booklet also contains giveaways, social media shoutouts, and fun trivia.
Korilakkuma or Rilakkuma Valentine’s Plushie. How adorable is this! This gorgeous plushie bear is either Rilakkuma or Korilakkuma, but both feature the bear holding a plush heart which actually contains a tiny pocket for a gift or note. I’ve got the Korilakkuma version here, who is Rilakkuma’s younger and more energetic counterpart. Korilakkuma also is know by the little red button on her front.
Sumikko Gurashi Mug & Tea Towel Set. This adorable gift duo has a real china mug and a complementary little towel, which are very popular in Japan as a portable had or wash cloth. Of course it can also be used in the home, as a surface protector or even just for decoration!
Sanrio Fluffy Socks. These come in one of several varieties. I’ve got Kuromi here, who is the main rival of My Melody. The socks are lovely and warm, perfect for keeping your feet cosy in the winter as cold toes aren’t very romantic, right?
Magical Heart Tin. One of two designs, pink and blue, this little tin has a sweet jewelled design and is a nice size for keeping tiny knick knacks in.#
Sanrio XL Pouch. This is a good-sized pouch, one of three possible Sanrio designs. I have to say right here that’s I’m thrilled to have Gudetama (the others are Little Twin Stars and My Melody) as he is my favourite kawaii character as I don’t see nearly enough of him in YumeTwins! The pouch is a nice size for a makeup bag or pencil case, and has the design on both sides.
