YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife.Each box contains 5 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.
They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).
As this is the December box, I kind of expected something Christmas-related. But instead, this is what I saw when I opened the box!
This box features a modern kawaii character called All Purpose Bunny (or sometimes Gloomy Bunny) and is an exclusive collaboration with the graphic designer Mori Chack, the creative brain behind this and other characters.
Everything in the box is devoted to this character, and is personally designed by Mori Chack humself.
The menu booklet gives some fascinating information about the creator, plus also the edgier side of kawaii art and culture in Japan.
BIG All Purpose Bunny Face Plushie
This is a pretty good size, and features the crazy long ears of this character! They’re each 42cm long, and can be draped, knotted, or arranged any way you like!
The kanji (Japanese symbol) on the ear is the symbol for the Japanese name of All Purpose Bunny.
The plushie is so large it takes up almost the entire box, so the other items are all flat, not that it matters at all!
Air Freshener and Keychain
The air freshener has a lovely vanilla scent, and is a cute accessory for the car or room.
The keychain can be used for keys or as a bag decoration. It’s made from tough acrylic so even if it’s thrown around with your keys it shouldn’t get damaged.
Foldable Note Collection and Rubber Coaster
The little set of notepads features four little pads all decorated with a different All Purpose Bunny design. The perfect size for writing a note or list! On the front you can see Bunny eating a carrot berry, which is carrot that tastes like a strawberry.
The coaster is a really useful item. Not only will it not be damaged by liquid, the fact that it’s made of rubber means that it’s non-slip, which is a really handy feature.
Fluffy Socks
The cute one-size-fits-all pink fuzzy socks are perfect to keep the winter cold out, and they’re very soft and cosy.
