YumeTwins is going magical this month with a celebration of famous girl characters in anime and kawaii culture, with the Moonlight Surprise box!

The magical girl genre is a popular one in Japanese culture, not least because it reflects their strength and independence. One of the most well-known in Sailor Moon, which features in this month’s box.

The menu booklet has all kinds of useful things inside, from information about the various characters featured to descriptions of the items inside.

Sailor Moon Eternal Quonset Figure

There are eight possible variations of this adorable figure from the Sailor Moon character series. I’ve usually seen this type of figure as various manga characters, but this one has definitely been ‘kawaii-ed up’. The character I have here is Chibi Moon/Chibiusa, and it’s a lovely celebration of these iconic characters, plus will look great on display for any Sailor Moon kawaii anime fan!

My Melody/Kurokomi Sanrio Makeup Stand

This little pot isn’t just for makeup, you can put pens, brushes, notebooks, or anything you like inside! It’s one of four possible options each featuring one of the iconic Sanrio kawaii character families.

Springtime Perfume Stick, sailor Moon Eyelash Curler

A little nod to the season, this perfume stick comes in one of four scent options. A scent stick is actually a super convenient product, as it won’t spill in your bag, the scent stays where you put it, and it has an extra little moisturising aspect too.

The eyelash curler is a really handy portable-size eyelash curler that works just as well as the full-size versions. It’s small enough to pop in your mag or travel makeup case, and comes in one of six pretty Sailor Moon character variations.

YumeTwins Original Nyan Nyan Towel

YumeTwins’ own little cat character NyanNyan features on this handy exclusive towel. It measures 34cm x 85cm which means it’s small enough to be portable but has enough area to actually be useful, especially when out an about. Whether you use it as a towel or a mat to clean your clothes clean outside, it’s got an adorable design is feels lovely and soft. A really cute and useful item!

My favourite item this month is actually the towel! It's such a useful size, especially in the summer when going out more, and the design is adorable. The perfume stick, while not a famous brand, is also incredibly handy, and has a lovely scent. I love the idea of scent as a stick rather than carrying a bottle around, and I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of it. The Sailor Moon figure is lovely, and while it's not one of my favourite franchises I think it's a great collector's items, and something a little different from the usual YumeTwins figures. The little pot is also useful, not leat to keep control of all those pencils that invariably get scattered everywhere! Overall I really like this month's selection, and YumeTwins has got a great balance going between cute and practical.
