Well isn’t this just a perfect Friday night, work week was crap, need to relax and unwind box?
So, in this box I received 2 reds and a white as is typical for the 3 bottle subscription.
The reds were: Pabillons de Fauried de Souchard and Voyage de Lanessan.
The white: Chateau Guiraud.
I am not much of a wine connoisseur, so I can’t tell you much more than these are all delicious.
As I can’t tell you anything about the wine, let me tell you about the box and the service.
The box was so well protected, the packaging was perfect. and even though the bow was heavy, it was very easy to handle.
The cost is £49 for 3 bottles a month or £36 for 2. It also comes with a handy little guide to the wine! Which for novices like me is amazing.
They have also come up with a new idea that will be implemented in a few months to learn about wine, where you get lessons with each box and you get to learn about them with 3 bottles a month!
I really love the idea of this box, and it actually makes me wish I drank more wine! At least when visitors visit I am a little more knowledgeable now.
What a friendly seeming service, and if I was going to choose a wine box (though I am slightly biased) it would be this one. Especially with the future lessons coming up, that would be a nice party trick!
