Under The Rowan Trees – Rainbows

Stationery goodies are always a marvellous treat! Under The Rowan Trees sends out a themed monthly box of all things stationery related. The contents vary from month to month, but can include such lovely things as washi tape, stickers, postcards, paperclips,  pens and pencils, and more.

Subscriptions start from £18 per month, with the price reducing for longer subscriptions.

The box itself is flat enough to fit through the letterbox, and comes in a lovely purple mailing bag, which gives a cheerful pop of colour to start. (Though I forgot to take a picture of it.)

There’s a little rainbow sticker on the box that gives a hint of what’s to come inside the box.

Inside the box lid you’ve got a list of everything inside.

Here are a sheet of stickers, and also a sheet of giftwrap. I left the giftwrap folded because it was too large to photograph properly, but it’s a nice big one. The quality is also excellent, nice and thick. I especially love the happy little faces on the rainbows! The stickers are very sweet, and I like that there are extra clouds as well.

More rainbows, another smiley rainbow, this time as a greeting card. This is a great design, and it’s blank so you could use it for lots of different occasions. The calendar page on the right could be popped in your planner or diary, or simply stuck on the fridge as a decoration.

I love washi tape! There are a generous two rolls here, with colourful spots and stripes. Washi is another thing that’s brilliant for planners or notebooks, and you can find a ton of other uses for it on the internet. These are a very welcome addition to my stash!

Here are not one but two pens! The one on top with the smiley rainbow cloud is a regular retractable ballpoint, though it’s far more fun than your average pen. The other one is a pink highlighter-type pen, with one thick and one thin nib.

Finally, this is a Rainbow Journal Stencil from Oops a Daisy.  This is an online store that sells all manner of lovely planner stencils and other goodies, and I’ve often looked at their website to admire them! This is a lovely stencil and can either be used for decoration or as a mood tracker or similar.

I’m so delighted with this box! Rainbows are such a happy theme, and I found myself smiling repeatedly as I went though all the lovely items inside the box.

I love planning and scrapbooks, so the stencil and washi tape are perfect for that. I’m going to have to keep the stickers away from my daughter though, as she loves them as much as I do!.

I keep a box of blank greeting cards so I always have a card to had, and the rainbow one is a great addition.
