Treatbox – April 2017: Fairies and Fairytales

The end of the month and the start of a new is my favourite time as it means that subscription boxes will be arriving! As much as I adore beauty boxes, I also love lifestyle subscription boxes too and one of my favourites has to be Treatbox (£12, per month).

The Treatbox theme for April  includes all things related to fairytales and fairies which is perfect to coincide with the new Beauty and The Beast film starring Emma Watson.

The April box contains a whopping eight items ranging from stationery and homeware to food and accessories as well as a token which when you collect ten tokens will allow you a free Scent Circus melt box which is very exciting and a nice touch to the box.

This box, in terms of how is it presented/wrapped is definitely the prettiest so far as it contained adorable little star confetti on everything! I also love that each box is so slim that it fits through my letter box which means I don’t have to be in for the delivery.

Let’s start with my favourite item from the entire box, the gorgeous Treatbox rainbow pin that features a cloud with the text ‘If you can dream it, you can do it’ on it as well as a cute rainbow.

Another cute item, well all of them are cute, is the fairy theme trinket/jewellery dish that has the text ‘no one is too old for fairytales’ on it as well as fairy and star illustrations. It’s such a cute little trinket or jewellery dish.

Sticking with the fairy theme is another one of my favourite items from this months box. The adorable ‘tread carefully fairies sleep here’ sign which I would have adored as a child. All of the fairytale items remind me of a film I watched constantly as a child involving fairies at the bottom of the garden but I can’t remember what it was called!

The final fairy theme item is a adorable wax melt from Scent Circus that I thought was soap initially but it is a wax melt for a wax burner which I have so I can’t wait to melt this one as it smells lovely. To me is a very sweet, sugary and nostalgic scent of something I can’t put my finger on.

There are still a few items left to talk about – there are so many items in this box including a cute biscuit from Nila Holden. It has cute fondant decorations and it tastes so nice; it’s a sweet vanilla biscuit and it has all of the ingredients and best before date on the packet so if you have any allergies or food intolerances then you will know if you can eat it or not.

With the boxes I’ve had so far, there has always been stationery including a cute print and this one is no different as there’s a print that says ‘live like there’s no midnight’ which must be a reference to Cinderella which was one of my favourite disney films growing up along with The Little Mermaid.

The penultimate item is another super practical but adorable item, it’s a notebook with the typical fairytale line of ‘once upon a time’ on the cover. I love the design of this notebook and I know I will get so much use out of it for blogging ideas and review notes!

The final item in the box is a Sleeping Beauty themed compact mirror! It has the most famous quote from Sleeping Beauty on the front of ‘You’re The Fairest Of Them All’. This little mirror is designed beautifully and it’s a great size for keeping in my bag!

Our score: 7.6/ 10

Overall, while this box and it's contents aren't my favourite from Treatbox, it is an adorably curated box. I love the notebook, cute biscuit and the fairy sign the most. If you are a fan of all things fairy, disney or fairytale then you will adore this months box from Treatbox.
