Brought to you by the popular online retailer Zavii, Threads is a monthly subscription box which is aimed at people who love geeky stuff such as gaming, movies, graphic novels and more – so you can see why this box appealed to me! Every month, you’ll receive a graphic novel and a T-Shirt for the price for just £9.99, and considering that graphic novels on their own are often expensive, it’s a really good deal and a fun way to build up your collection.
April’s Threads box is my first box from them and I couldn’t wait to see what was inside!
All-Star Batman Vol 1: My Own Worst Enemy
Part of the DC Universe Rebirth, this hardback graphic novel is the first volume in the All-Star Batman series. It features the first five issues which are written by a collection of famed authors including the legendary Scott Snyder and John Romita Jr. I’ve always been a big fan of Batman and have several graphic novels, but haven’t read the All-Star series yet so I’m excited to get stuck into this. As you can see above, the artwork looks fantastic!
Lord Of The Rings T-Shirt
I’m perhaps more of a ‘passing fan’ of The Lord of The Rings franchise than a die-hard fangirl or geek of it, but I can certainly appreciate this pretty cool T-Shirt which features a classic silver print design on a plain black background. It’s made from 100% cotton and feels like good quality – I’m sure many LOTR fans will love it too! When you sign up to your Threads subscription you can choose between Mens or Womens sizes and the one I went for is a Men’s Medium as I prefer to wear them quite loose and casual over a pair of jeans.
