The Vegan Kind – November 2018

The popularity of veganism in the UK shows no signs of slowing down, and if you’ve recently become vegan, are thinking about it, or have been a vegan for years, The Vegan Kind box is the foodie subscription box for you! This monthly lifestyle box contains 5-8 products from a variety of categories such as food, drink, toiletries, household, lifestyle and more, and because they’ve checked and verified that everything included is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free for you, you can skip reading the labels and simply enjoy the products!

November’s The Vegan Kind box arrived a couple of days ago and here’s everything that I found inside it:-

Monami Frost Vegan Home Cooking Book (RRP £15)

The box felt a little heavier than usual this month and the reason why is because there’s an awesome cookbook from the famed vegan influencer, Monami Frost! Her bestselling Home Cooking cookbook is full of over 100 quick and easy plant-based recipes, many of which are also gluten-free. It’s a great book to find some food inspiration from for meals at home, and because everything is very simple, you don’t need lots of hard to find or expensive ingredients – win, win!

LoveRaw Peanut Butter Cups (RRP £1.99)

This pack contains two dark chocolate vegan peanut butter cups and they are amazing! At only 100 calories per cup and free from refined sugar, they are a delicious guilt-free snack when you want something to satisfy your sweet tooth. I would definitely buy these again!

Boundless Cayenne & Rosemary Activated Nuts & Seeds (RRP £1.70)

Next up, I found a pack of nuts and seeds from the brand Boundless. This mix contains activated nuts and seeds which are better for your digestion system, and they are flavoured with a tasty blend of Cayenne and Rosemary for a savoury crunchy twist.

Emily Crisps Sweet Potato Sticks (RRP £1)

New from Emily Crisps are these incredible Sweet Potato Sticks which are seasoned with Chilli and Lime. They are absolutely delicious and very moreish – another product that I’d happily buy again!

Choc Chick Quinoa Pops (RRP £2)

Made from whole grain Quinoa, these raw chocolate treats are covered in the finest Ecuadorian Nacional Arriba single origin Cacao, and all of the ingredients are ethically sourced, pesticide-free, palm oil free, dairy free, gluten free and soya free, so lots of people can enjoy them.

The Vegan Kind Toothbrush (RRP £3.99)

Get rid of single-use plastic in your bathroom and help to save the oceans by switching to a more sustainable type of toothbrush. This new one from The Vegan Kind is made from eco-friendly bamboo which is biodegradable, plus 10p from every toothbrush sold is donated to the Tribe Animal Sanctuary in Scotland – how cool is that?

Hawker’s Cheese and Onion Chips (RRP £0.89)

Hawker’s is a brand new vegan approved soya and potato popped chip that has recently joined the UK snacks market. Not only are these popped chips low in saturated fat, gluten free and high in fibre, but they’re also palm oil free which is fantastic to see. And they’ve very tasty too!

Bonsan Organic Fruity Stars Sweets (RRP £1.79)

Another new product are these Organic Fruity Stars which are vegan-friendly gummy sweets. They’re made from the best organic natural ingredients, contain 30% less sugar than regular sweets, are free from artificial flavours and colours, and they’re gluten-free. I really enjoyed these and they would be a brilliant alternative for kids to try.

Our score: 9.8/ 10

I loved this month's box - the vegan cookbook is brilliant and I love the variety of sweet and savoury snacks!
