Lots of the beauty boxes this month are celebrating the arrival of Spring (I know I can’t wait for some warmer and sunnier weather after this long, cold Winter!), and Roccabox is no exception. The influencer-inspired beauty box has curated an April box which is full of treats to pamper and rejuvenate your skin, refresh your makeup tool stash and help you experiment with some new makeup from less-known brands.
Here’s what I found inside:-
Laritzy Cosmetics Eye Pencil Liner in Gold (RRP £12)
First up, there’s an eyeliner pencil from the Canadian makeup brand, Laritzy, which have been featured in the previous two Roccaboxes. Designed to be a dramatic and bold liner that helps you nail a winged-eye look, this pencil is the colour Gold which is a pretty shimmery shade. It’s not very pigmented though which is a little disappointing, but I’ll see if I can make it work for some Spring looks.
Anatomicals Firming Face Mask (RRP £3)
I love sheet masks, so I was pleased to see this bright blue one from the quirky brand, Anatomicals. Infused with a firming and brightening solution, this face mask contains Collagen and has a soft cloth material which feels very nice and pampering on the skin. After 20 minutes, my face did feel firmer, softer and plumped up so it gets a thumbs up from me!
Laidbare Skincare Pack Your Bags Eye Cream (RRP £7.99)
Laidbare are one of my favourite natural skincare brands and it’s great to see them starting to pop up in numerous beauty boxes now! This Pack Your Bags Eye Cream is something that I’ve used in the past and loved, so I’m happy to have another replacement of it in my skincare stash. It’s great for brightening the under eye area, whilst smoothing and nourishing it at the same time.
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Slanted Tweezers in Rose Gold (RRP £8)
Tweezers are an essential tool for groomed brows and these ones from The Vintage Cosmetic Company come in a gorgeous metallic rose gold colour which is really pretty. They feel good quality and are the perfect size for throwing into your travel or makeup bag.
3ina The Nail Polish in 150 (RRP £4.95)
The fifth and final product in this month’s Roccabox is a beautiful nail polish from a Spanish brand called 3ina which I haven’t heard of before. It features a unique hard-wearing formula that prevents chipping, whilst delivering a smooth, shiny and glossy colour finish to the nails. This shade is perfect for Spring!
