And all led in an engaging narrative from, Quokka! Quokka Box is aimed at children between the ages of 7-11 but can be enjoyed by any child who loves animals and adventure.
The Welcome Pack
Packed full of fun, you’ll find a personalised welcome letter, travel map, stickers to track your child’s journey around the world with The Wild Side, plus their first issues of Animal Wise and The Wild Side.
Animal Wise (monthly)
An educational and engaging children’s magazine, all about care & respect for the animals they may come across in their day-to-day lives (including how to be responsible ‘pet parents’).
The Wild Side (monthly)
Taking children on a journey around the world to learn about species at risk, how our actions affect them, and what they can do to help – with some fun code-cracker elements included!
Depending on your child’s reading and writing ability, there is something for everyone and can be enjoyed as a project together or independently in their own time.
The subscription has been designed to purposely encompass various elements of the curriculum from geography and art, to mathematics, science and writing. Passionate about creating an educated future generation of informed animal advocates, Quokka Box has done this in the most versatile and engaging way possible! The activities stimulate curiosity about the natural world and encourage empathy towards the animals we share our planet with.
The subscription is designed to empower children to explore their creativity, communicate what they have learnt and become confident readers and writers.
Children will learn all about responsible pet ownership, the 5 animal welfare needs, lifecycles and wildlife. In addition, we also gently introduce the foundations of bigger topics such as sustainability, environmental issues, extinction and climate change.
The subscription can also encourage ICT skills where the children have the option of “quokking the code” to discover a password which will allow them to download a stamp for their activity book passport and a certificate to confirm what they have learnt, creating a sense of achievement from school through to home.
