If you love unique and bespoke gifts that you just can’t readily find on the high street, Not Another Bill will be an absolute delight to discover. Their online store is packed full of quirky, creative, functional and beautiful products from a wide range of lifestyle categories, and I really like how they manage to source these direct from the producers, many of whom are individual artists or small, independent companies.
In addition to their online shop, Not Another Bill also offer a monthly subscription service which you can choose for yourself or give as a gift to a special someone. When you sign up, you can fill in a short profile about your personal tastes and what sort of products you like from a range of different categories, and then you’re given a choice of whether you want to choose your own monthly gifts or whether you want Not Another Bill to ‘surprise’ you each month with something based on what you answered in your profile. If you’re buying a subscription as a gift, you can also decide whether you want to choose your recipient’s monthly gifts or again, let Not Another Bill do it for you.
I decided to go for the tailor-made subscription option where I choose my own gifts, and I was so surprised by the variety of products available. You’re really spoilt for choice and Not Another Bill frequently add new products to their website all the time, so you can always go back into your account and change your mind before the next shipping date if you see something new that you’d prefer to receive instead.
And even though I knew what I was going to receive this month, I was still very excited to open up the package – and it didn’t disappoint!
For April, I ordered this set of Copper Cocktail Mugs and they arrived in perfect condition in a large, well packed carboard box. I’m a huge fan of the current copper trend and I’ve been slowly building up a range of copper coloured kitchenware, but I was missing some retro cocktail mugs like these, so when I saw them, I had to get them!
The mugs are slightly larger than I imagined them, but they’re great quality and I love the vintage inspired hammered design, with the slim handles. I think they look really cool and they’ll be perfect for serving a range of cocktails in during the (hopefully!) sunny Summer months.
Also inside the box, there was a recipe for a contemporary version of the classic Gin Gin Mule drink which these cocktail mugs were originally famous for. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to try this out and they worked out great! The drink was delicious and it looked stunning presented in these stylish copper cocktail mugs. Very Instagram-friendly and they’ve been receiving a lot of compliments from friends and family already – so thanks Not Another Bill!
