February means Valentine’s and chocolate is a big part of the romantic celebration in Japan, so nomakenolife is celebrating all things chocolatey with this month’s box Valentine Choco Kiss.
The menu booklet gives excellent descriptions and usage guides for each item inside. There’s also some fun extra info, including the best places in Tokyo to go on a date!
Silk Scarf Double Hair Mask
This two-piece mask is great for soft and shiny hair. It includes a treatment cream and then a special cap which contains essence for extra effect, and the booklet includes helpful directions for proper usage.
Multi Case, Savobn de Chocolat Soap, The Fresh Mask – Rose
This heart-decorated case is a useful little pouch for carrying a few small items. The design is perfect for Valentine’s, and if you use it for your phone, apparently you can still take calls while it’s still in the case! Very useful when it rains.
The chocolate soap contains moisturising cocoa butter, but one of the nicest things about it is that it really does smell exactly like chocolate. It’s very tempting to take a bite, but don’t. It’s very night on your skin though.
The rose sheet mask contains vitamin A and C and is perfect for restoring moisture to dry winter skin. It also smells lovely.
Gateau Chocolate Choosy Lip Cream, The Saem Love Me Coating Tint
This lip cream is another chocolate-scented product, moisturising lips beautifully and also adds a hint of colour.
The Lip Tint also adds colour, this time slightly redder, and it comes in an adorable heart-shaped pot.
Dodo Eyeshadow Palette, Gateau Chocolate Choosy Powder Blush
This eyeshadow palette contains five colours in a combination of glitter and matte. The spectrum is pink and complementary shades, and is perfect for creating a dramatic or subtle look.
The blush palette is only one colour, but it is a lovely fresh colour, and need just minimal application for a lovely blushing look.
