As you’ll know, a ‘glow up’ is to make a transformation in your appearance, generally for the better! And what better time to do this than the new year?
This month’s box is all about refreshing your beauty routine and look. The menu booklet tells you about each product, as well as a deeper dive into a couple of the specialty products.
Pupa CICA Serum is an essence that is infused with Cica, a native asian plant renowned for its healing and soothing properties. This serum has a lovely jelly consistency and sinks in beautifully, giving excellent hydration, essential in the colder winter months.
A product that is multi-use is always essential for your routine, and the H9 Hyraluronic Ampoule Skin Conditioner is perfect for this. It’s a lotion that moisturises through the day, but it can also be used as a cleanser in the evening, working overnight to maintain hydration. It has quite a thick texture a little like serum, but it sinks in fast and doesn’t leave any kind of stickiness.
The first of two masks is a Black Caviar Real Moist Mask, which works to retain moisture and plump the skin, soothing fine lines. The Sanrio Body Sponge is a cute addition to your bath routine! I’ve got one featuring Cinnamoroll, and it has a lovely soft texture and a hanging loop to help it dry out.
The final mask is another item from the JMsolution, a Water Luminous SOS Ringer Mask+. This is exclusive to the Japanese market, and is the most popular mask from this brand. It contains nine moisturising elements as well as spring water from Japan, and feels deliciously rich and hydrating on the skin.
There are also two cosmetics items, a mascara and an eyeshadow. The eyeshadow is a lovely shiny gold, and the mascara is plain black, which is a greta colour for utility.
There was also supposed to be another item in the box, an Angel Heart Twinkle Lip Gloss. I think there must have been a glitch, but from the menu booklet it looks very nice.
